People are just frustrated that you are flooding the forums with nine thousand redundant new threads. All the things you are asking can be found out without resorting to the shortcut of just posting a thread because you can't find your answer right away.
There is nothing wrong with being keen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't get me wrong.
Just apply your newfound passion in a slightly different direction and learn to find the info you want without just posting a new thread.
I am not discouraging you!

You cut out the ankle support from the inner ankle area to prevent the shoe from restricting your range of ankle movement.calemccoy wrote:in the diagram, there was a shoe, and a line pointing t something out of view labeled "brocka cut".... and i would like to know the purpose for it.

my brocka. see the piece that should connect the blue leather to the lacing leather is missing. I then stitched some facile over the raw mesh/canvas edge to prevent fraying and for looks.
This may not be the best picture since the back side lines up with the cut.
I'd wait till you play with the shoes for a while before modding this way. I don't regret cutting mine, but I don't think it helped much.
