Help in Naming my dog

Post by sanuke okumatzu »

I'm getting a black mini dachshund here in a few weeks. I need help coming up with a name. Our other dachshunds' names are Nina and Zheteaux. I want something pretty uncommon I was thinking Ragnhild or something odd like that....by the by , it's a female.

Any idears?

Pixie.
Swirl.
Omelette.
Fudge.
Pogo.
Pandora.

If you ask me, dogs respond better with an 'S' sound, so I vouch for 'Swirl' from that list. :P

Dogs also respond better to two syllable names.

I always wanted to name my dog rook (mine is zack) so whenever it did anything I'd be able to scold it sounding like Farva. Thanks for washin my car, rrroooooook.

"You Bitch"

If she's a puppy you will find yourself calling her that quite often anyway so you may as well go with it. It's two syllables and not very common for an actual name. :D
