Hey Jeremy! It was really good to see you again. It's so good to hear that you had a good worlds. It would have been great to see your net matches. I got bored capturing shred footage and watched some interviews last night. I happened to catch yours it was really good. You had some good stuff to say. Well, I should be travelling again in a month or a few or whenever. Maybe I will pass by your way. Are you planning on staying in Santa Cruz for a while? I want to move some where with a footbag scene. I just moved into a new appartment and we got the internet today. So, I guess take it easy, stretch that groin. Stay healthy and have fun. The German world's team is visiting Santa Cruz this afternoon if all goes according to plan. I hope to show them a good time.

Vasek, Honza, and Milan are here in CA, but I haven't visited them since Worlds ended. Fletch and Emily have/will.

Germans did not come down to Santa Cruz like I hoped tonight, but thats okay, EJ and I will have a session with them tomorrow in Oakland, and then attend a sweet after-party.

Going to start counting the number of sit-ups I do monthly.

Thanks Andrew. Indeed, I had a lot of fun that night. I enjoyed meeting/seeing everyone in your house. And I DO hope to visit Prague next year, so I will likely see you there, if not before!

Well, I was at work when i got a call from Paul Levasseur, a movie production assistant. He asked me if I was interested in flying down to LA in a couple of weeks to be in some scenes in a soon-to-be-released movie. Really surprised and not totally believing him, I said "Sure, sounds interesting." Anyway, a week or so later, he got some information from me and purchased a flight down there for me ( and about 9-10 other footbaggers) to meet some of the movie production crew . They paid for our hotel stay for 8 days, we got a lot of free food, and a couple hundred dollars per day to film a scene over a weeks time.

We got to see and meet some primo actors, athletes and singers and learn how Hollywood movie magic happens at Universal/Sony Pics. entertainment and Warner Bros. Studios. In a couple of weeks time, there is a possibility that I will be flown down to Cabo San Lucan, Mexico to continue filming one other scene. That would be sweet and I'm hoping my life doesn't get in the way of this experience.

Just wanted to tell someone about it!

Thanks Sam, it was an amazing experience, and not quite over yet wither. They are asking be to come back and do another scene in which I think Ill be Adam's body double

This week was one of the best from a footbag perspective. I had 4 quality kicks, two up in Oakland and two here in Santa Cruz. Some of the players in Santa Cruz are really stepping up and raising their games, and some of the newbs are starting to look more like intermediates.

Today, I played really consistently throughout especially with my bumping and setting and as such, even when paired up with fair intermediate players, we were able to consistently beat higher level teams. Today I won about 12 games and lost only 3. Usually its 50-50.

Theres a winter net tournament in Phoenix this year and the Santa Cruz crew looks like it will represent in full force!
