If it's actually a "same side" clipper, then it sounds like drifter.
It sounds like it could be whirl, too, except for the "same side", so I'm not sure.

either drifter or quantum clipper, if the first dex is downtime, drifter
but if the first dex is uptime, then quantum clipper

its probably not drifter. just guessing from experience.

most likely it is something like refraction.

Please don't take this the wrong way, I just read your blog and I'm trying to answer as accurately as possible. Are you trying to find out the name of a trick you hit or just the name of a trick you saw somewhere. If started a bit like a mirage but then you push a bit further and catch on a clipper (ie you catch the bag on the same foot that you did the mirage dex with), then it would be a drifter.

I didn't actually write it in on my blog yet since it was just a spur of the moment thing. It did start like a mirage so I guess it would be a drifter (toe set?).

yeah, probably toe set drifter. Did the bag start on one foot and end up stalling on the other foot?

yep. same side. right toe set, ends in a left foot clipper

I tried it flipside, but ended up hurting myself XD

technically if you said (even though it's not correct to use "same side" as opposed to same leg)

toe>op in>ss clip

the ss would refer to the previous action, so actually that would describe whirl because it would be a mirage to IT'S same side. But that's just me being a stickler

I've always thought ss meant the same as the setting leg. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Or maybe I was confusing "ss" with "same"

so "ss clipper" is different from "same clipper", right? or am I just overthinking it?

"Same" is same leg, "sameside" refers to a side of the body. So, like, parkwalk is a pixie sameside butterfly, while dimwalk is a pixie butterfly (assuming opposite side unless otherwise stated (although lots of people don't bother with certain bigger moves, like, sailing and phasing moves, and it's confusing...)).

I guess in this example, though, if someone said, "Pixie sameside butterfly" and then "pixie same butterfly" I would assume they are the same move, because sometimes "same" is used as a short form of "sameside"... so it can be confusing. I guess it is better to super-clarify and say "same-leg" or "sameside".

I think it's actually spyro rev whirl. Looking carefully it appears to be gyro-symposium, aka spyro. Sweeeet

Well the first one is a

Inside kick and then a dex with the opposite leg and then either a stall on the foot or another inside kick

the second is a toe stall that is stopped when it is stalled then a after a few seconds it is flicked in the air over the head and then hit with the heel in the back

The first trick is a little unclear. I'm guessing you're talking about a butterfly stall/kick.

The second trick is really old school. It's sometimes called "Jedi." A couple of years ago I met a guy from Canada who played footbag in Canada during the 80s (but has since moved to Australia). He would do that trick really well, but stare at you with an evil glare while doing it. Pretty awesome.

So today I hit this trick, and I am not sure what its called.

I set with my left toe, about waist hig at my belly button, then brought my right leg over the bag from in>out, and ended with a osis.
