It's been a long time since last post. Started school. Been working. Renee starts school on the 27th. I've started going to the gym again which normally consists of a three mile run followed by weight training followed by a 30-60 minute session of Footbag. My stamina is up because of this. I had been having a stamina problem.
Did that today as well and finally managed to hit Paradox Mirage>Tapdown>Repeat. I also footed Atomic Opposite Torque. Hopefully I'll catch that move on video for next online competition. Those were the only highlights though really. Hopefully I can get back to what I used to do. I'll be able to play at school now too which will be cool.

Thanks Kyle. 8 ) I wouldn't necessarily say I'm in shape, I kind of let myself go, started drinking soda again, not a lot... but considering I didn't have a drop for 7 months straight... you get the idea. I'm trying to get back to where I was though.
Today I was talking to Janis and watching the new Jorden/Jim/Lon video and got inspired to shred so I came to the gym, where I am actually typing this before I forget all the juicy stuff, and did some weight training first and then got to playing. I played for a good healthy hour, I haven't done that in I don't know how long.
I hit quite a few things. I've been focusing on schoolng my Drifters lately and today there was noticable progress in just the hour I played. I've been watching Felix Zenger's Drifters in that Hi-Def video that Jere put out and I've been trying to replicate his form.
Highlights:
Footed Atomic Opposite Torque yet again, I just never make that fucking hand catch.
Tried out some Pixies, almost actually got Pixie Same Dyno but missed the Dyno.
A new record on Butterfly>Paradox Mirage>Repeat.
Whirl>Reverse Whirl both sides.
I tried out Double Dyno just for the hell of it and actually cleared the second dexterity but couldn't slow it down to make the catch. Some definite possibilities though.
And lastly:
Blender! Finally managed to hit this. Still need to hit it Flip but holy hell that felt good.
I feel like now that I'm getting back into the swing of things my motivation has really kicked in after an excruciatingly long lull. It's kind of crazy because this is exactly what happened last year. Summer was full so I didn't play then August rolled around and bam, I was back at it 6 days a week. I doubt I'll be doing six days a week but so much more than I am now.
Also another HUGE motivation for me is Renee. She noticed that I had stopped playing as much and that I was really quite unhappy about it and she actually started practicing on the side without me knowing as a surprise. I can't tell you how much that meant to me. She's got an injured back right now so she can't do much but she's honestly wanting to learn and that makes me want to get to the point where I feel like I'm worthy enough to teach her. I'm going to get her some Lavers soon and we'll take it from there. I just don't want to turn into the drill sergeant type, which I doubt will be an issue because I rarely do but I'm going to make an extra effort to make sure I don't in this situation.
Anyways with the cold weather in the coming months I'll be able to get outside and play more often and for a longer period of time. I love cold weather.
Hope all is well with everyone.

Had an annoying session today. Helped me realise how much I really do lack and how sloppy I am. I did manage to hit Stepping Far Dyno today though... followed by a happy roll. Here's a video:

I was proud of that but it was about my only highlight besides footing Far Symple Dyno.

Haven't posted in ages. I've only played once since my last post, and that was with Aric a few weeks ago. I t was his first time playing in a couple months but I managed to get some cool stuff on video. My strings were shitty but I got some cool combos and managed to hit Flip Torque for the first time.
I'm heading over to Goldsboro this Sunday to play with Josh for an evening, possibly with Aric.
As for shorter shorts... Renee took them. 8 P
Updates... that shit traffic ticket I got was dropped. I went to court and spanked the opposition. Hell yes. I'm going to an Amon Amarth concert (FINALLY!) on Novemeber 29th with about 4 friends so that will kick ass. And Renee and I are going up to Busch Gardens for the last weekend in October. Anybody around the Williamsburg area who plays??

Aric McIntosh Matt.
I haven't listened to it Erik. I will now since you seem so excited by it. 8 P
I did get the new Epica album though and I love it.

Things are not going well at all between Renee and I right now. I don't know what's going to happen but I honestly don't like where things are headed. Please wish me luck, I need it. I don't know what the hell I will do if it all goes to shit.

Thank you Erik. I appreciate it. But it happened. Renee and I are done. Things had built up especially with her and we ended it last night. I know it's for the best and I know her reasons behind it and I completely understand them but it still hurts. This girl has been my World since April 21st. It honestly hasn't fully hit me yet. We are still going to remain friends because one, it wasn't a bad breakup on the contrary it was probably the "easiest" one I've ever been through and two, that's what she i. She's my best friend. It's going to be hard as hell, that being an understatement, but it could be so much worse I guess. I don't really know what else to say to tell you the truth so we'll just see how the weekend plays out. Taking it one day at a time right now.

We all been there Alan, and it's never easy. Wish ya best and as Ben says, be tough. I don't know if you feel like shredding but if not I can understand that, what I was doing in that situation is I'll just run for an hour or so until I'm so tired I can't breath and move anymore, than I get back home and don't think of anything. Than you can shred maybe

Things are fine. There really was no transition needed for me besides having to get used to not calling her baby. She had been an asshole to me for a few days and I got sick of it and had probably an hour long talk with her. After that she started being pleasant again. Things aren't necessarily easy for us but they also aren't hard. We're still going to Busch Gardens together on the 26th-28th, we're just getting twin beds instead of the original king size.
I'm looking forward to it though. Should be fun as hell. I might shred. Just depends really.
