If you know me at all you knew to expect this.
Here it is… a good start at least.
Added after writing this: I didn’t plan on writing this in story format. The story and bullet points are a bit (if not very) out of order.
Also, this is a bit of a long entry, so I'm putting in some pictures to help you keep track of where you are.
Worlds 2007
Saturday Aug 4th, two weeks before worlds.
I went to Steve’s house to play footbag with him and the gang. We had a three and a half hour session that felt SO good. I had the natural high you get from an awesome session. During the session I heard a song that I’ve heard a million times and like so I played right on beat with it. Since I was playing well to a song I liked—
SIDENOTE: I went home that night and wanted to know the name of it, so I asked my roommates, my sister and her boyfriend. I didn’t know who did the song or what album it was on, and there were no lyrics, so I had to sing it. The problem is that all I know of the song is “(beat)wah(beat)wah(beat)wah(beat)wahâ€

I havent gotten through all of it yet but some parts made me laugh really hard.
It was really good seeing you again at worlds. I feel like we have been friends forever but i have only see you in person like 3 or 4 times. I feel like i got to know you a little better.
Coming to NYJ I assume?

Thanks James. You get a gold star for being the first person to make it through that post.
Thanks Ken. I happened to overhear some guy call you Tu or Tuan when he said hi to you. I expected your response to be like
:x but unfortunately you are probably so used to it that you were more like

Yeah, about four (short) paragraphs up from the end. See you later today at Stanford/Steve's.
This morning I woke up and looked outside to see a nice sunny day greeting me. The hammock Jason recently set up outside my room was also greeting me but I had to ignore it. Next Sat. or Sun. I'm going to wake up just enough to go outside and sleep in that for a while. Yum. I'm having a good day right now. The only thing that bothers me is someone keeps moving my chair. And that my knee hurts when I push the clutch in. Kind of hard for it to heal when it's being used so much.
I really want to play footbag by next week. It's a total shame that at Worlds and after Worlds, the two times a player more feels inspired to play, I can't play. Whine Whine Whine.

And thanks to whoever decided that I need a little extra excitement in my life and saved a phone sex number in my phone at Worlds.
You guys are messed up.

You caught me.
Just kidding, thats pretty funny though.
I had a great time with you at worlds this year, but I always feel like there wasn't enough time spent, or conversations had. Your right, we should live closer. I wonder where we will meet again???

Kicked on Friday with Fletch and Jeremy. As Fletch wrote in his blog, there were a few times that we had to run under an overhang to avoid getting splattered by the falling guano. It was crazy. We played at Capitola Mall where there was a bit of foot traffic. I don't remember anything I hit except for dyno>dyno>dyno. I did a strong whirl and it hurt my left (support) knee. Yuck.
I went to play a game of net on Sunday. It was a really relaxed day so I played a second game. It was really hot early on then got too cold for me so I left.
Tonight I was doing random stuff in my room and felt like playing footbag. I kind of forgot that feeling. "Oh, I have an hour or two until I need to sleep. I can play a little, shower, still hang out, then go to sleep." Nice.
Tonight in my room:
20 legovers
20 clippers each side
20 pickups
20 atw, each side, each direction
20 mirages each side
20 pixies
14 illusions each side. Only 14 because flip hurt my left knee. Since I always try to do stuff on my flip first (I do the same thing at the gym too) I did 14 on my flip (before it hurt) so 14 on my strong.

Not to be a total ass (only a partial one), but why is it that you wanted to be in that picture? Isn't your posting of it here just a mockery of their devotion to their belief in a higher power?
I understand about the sign though, that wording is pretty killer.

Hit my still bad knee on a rock while swimming on a camping trip, messed it up pretty well. No footbag for a long time.

Nice, Zeke. I wish I had mini-relatives to cuddle and spoil. I'm settling for my neighbor's dog.

Hi Chrissy.
On the 27th I'm going to do a local charity bowling event for a group that provides FREE cancer support services to women with ALL forms of cancer. 100% of the event proceeds will go directly to these free services since everyone involved is a volunteer (so there are no administrative costs to present the event.) It's pretty neat, but they want me to collect donations. I wish I knew more people around here.

Along with doing many other things, I stuff envelopes at my job. There are a few married couples in the company, so their pay stubs are combined into one envelope. I've always put the wife's on top so the envelope would be addressed to her. I figure the wife gets called Mrs. John Smith by telemarketers, and things that are addressed to them both are sometimes sent to Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, so thought I'd even it out a bit. I didn't know if the recipients ever noticed, or if they noticed it, did they care? Probably not. So after 3 years of working at this job and addressing the envelopes to the wife of the couple, I happened to be at an employee picnic and met a bunch of the employees for the first time. A guy introduced himself and his wife to me. "She's the one you send our pay stubs to.
" He wasn't saying it in a bad way, but the fact that he said it meant that they noticed it. It felt good that something so small and passive can have even a slight impact on people I might never meet. Maybe just to start a conversation.
Scott Davidson is going to be in town this weekend. I'm not sure what the weather is going to be like so Dustin and I have to find an indoor spot to kick. So far it'll just be the three of us, but anyone is welcome.
Did I tell you that I was became a member of Team America (USA) at Worlds? I have a shirt and everything.
And by "everything" I mean I just have a shirt. Nothing on the website yet and no trading cards... yet.
I can't wait to sleep in on Saturday.
