From the announce email list. In case anyone's not on it.
Folks,

This is a notice that Vasek and I will be flying
to Los Angeles in the morning for Vasek to appear
on Jimmy Kimmel Live tomorrow [Wednesday] night
(on ABC, check your local listings; either 11pm
or 12 midnight depending on your area).

Vasek will be featured three times in between
other segments, so be sure to watch the whole
thing. Of course, this is live TV, so anything
can happen. But the plan is for him to do three
segments with a different demo each segment.
(Unfortunately, Vasek twisted his ankle very
badly just a few days ago, so don't expect to see
him performing at his peak; but even impaired,
Vasek is going to do a great job for us. Everyone
please cross your fingers that his ankle
cooperates enough to let him perform well.)

Again -- this will happen on Jimmy Kimmel Live on
ABC, WEDNESDAY NIGHT (Aug. 29th), late at night.
Some of you may not get this 'til Wednesday in
which case it's TONIGHT.

This is a great opportunity for footbag to get
national TV exposure in the U.S.; this has been
one of the hardest markets for us to get media
attention in, so this is a great thing for
footbag! If you look on your TiVo you'll see the
following on the listing for Wednesday night's
show:

"Actress Mandy Moore; actor John Hamm; world
footbag champion Václav Klouda; Joss stone
performs."

P.S. Very special thanks go to Vasek who is not
only enduring a serious ankle injury to do this
for our sport, but also extending his trip by a
solid week to make this work out. Also, for
those of you who haven't heard, Vasek will be at
Funtastik next weekend (as will I, of course).

It happened last Saturday. As of yesterday he was doing much better, but yeah, obviously he's still not at 100%.

Sorry for the double post, but I just got to LA with Vasek and as luck would have it, they have rescheduled him (!!) for Thursday instead.

So, reset your TiVos and tune in *tomorrow* night (Thursday, Aug 30th) to ABC to watch Vasek on Jimmy Kimmel Live. This is actually good news in the sense that it gives Vasek one more day to heal his badly twisted ankle. :-)

Again, everyone cross your fingers -- this is going to be great media exposure in the U.S.

For those of you who keep asking me when it will be available online, I have to remind everyone that we don't own the rights to this video, and I can't just put the video online legally. Though, obviously most networks have ways to legally download videos of their shows. Once I know for sure of course I'll let people know how to obtain it.

Sweet, Im glad this post is up, I was about to go postal on the fact that Kimmel didn't put Vasek on. Did anyone catch the burn he said about the Chech Republic in his first interview. I couldn't believe he said that on an episode with someone from that courtry. But I guess its ok since Vasek was never on.
And can we please get this damn country to acknowledge the fact that hacky sack sucks! FOOTBAG! I mean were never going to get respect this way, NEVER! People are just going to think he's good at passing in a hack circle, big woop. People will be watching and yelling at the TV for him to pass it to someone and quit being a ball hog and miss the point of the demonstration completely. I hate my country......

Right, but not all areas, even larger cities have decent analog signals. I have cable but I don't watch TV (made my cable internet cheaper to get both-suppose they wanted to get me hooked) and now I'm worried that I won't get to see it either as the installer apparently left no cable or box.

So, if someone were to stumble on it in youtube, etc, I would appreciate a link :wink:
