Wow, Jerab. Those look awesome!

I'm back from the canoe trip and Polish Champs. I stitched two 32-panels during the competition but I have no photos. Below you can see the first bag sewed after the trips.

Here is a complete experiment. I used my mini template for amaretta. I love it. Let me know if this seems too small. It is a radiation pattern with alternating hexes. But in two spots, there are two hexes of the same colour touching. But other than that I think it rocks.

Put aside the 62 to do a 32. I dig this one!

Post by jerab »

Hi all, Decided to put down the 62 for a bit, giving me a head ache! Here is a 32 I started last night and finished this morning. This one is for your drooling pleasure.

Man those are some wicked bags, I just ordered $30 worth the Ultrasuede Light from fieldsfabrics. I cant wait for it to get here...but i dont know if i should use thread or dental floss, I will use whatever one makes it easier to stitch a bag.

@Josh, it looks like you've got a new template, and a little bit looser gather? Very nice!

I think mini's should be just a bit smaller than golf-ball sized. That bag is a little too small Andrew.

Thanks for all the comments guys.

I realize that it is a little small, but it plays so wonderfully. My regular bags are just a tad smaller than a golf ball so a mini had to be smaller.

The thing is, this template used is for facile minis and I wanted to see how it worked with amaretta. I love it and it is not all that much smaller than the P2 I got from you Peng. But I guess I need to make another template just for amaretta.

I am currently offering a standard facile, mini facile. The standard amaretta and mini amaretta are still works in progress. But I am going to be keeping the amaretta mini near this size, just a bit bigger and I think I will keep the amaretta standard the same size as the first bag I made out of amaretta.
