brian and i had a nice session today at the community park. we've claimed a pavillion thing to be our shred deck. today's session was better than normal for me. a milestone if you will. finally getting my strong side clipper to be... strong. lol. hit mirage and near legover out of clipper. also did this butterfly thing but instead of it landing on the inside of my foot it was on the outside... like a dragon. i didnt hand catch i though. mirage record was hit. 9. toe stall record was created, but i have no idea how many it was. i was practicing walking toe stalls.

we moved over to the tennis court after a bit. there were some guys paying soccer that stopped what they were doing to watch. there was a fat dad and his fat son playing tennis. the son beat the dad and the dad was begging his kid to "play another for a corndog".

ive thought about starting a challenges thing, but i dont know if i wanna do that. so, in the mean time, can i get some challenges from you readers?

ps. my pixies are so much better in quantums than my gunits.

pps. footbag is the shit.

my part in todays (now yesterdays) session was pretty nice, with no big highlites.

i hit pheonix again, one side.
ducking/diving clippers/butters
dyno/revwhirls

some shuffle that didnt go so well

and some crap. some nice tiltless, and bop work.

failed a high number of times trying stupid moves i should have no prob hitting (bed, ewalk, blurry whirl) i got tired too fast or sometihng.

even though i brought cups of ice and water, it was still hot and humid outside. 90 something i think. sprinkled for a bit. didnt cool down.

holly busted some combos. it was cool. im proud!

i guess i need to make a screen of some cool shirts. tomorrow.

good night.

brian

oh, andi hit torque, which i hate and think its lame. but i still want to be able to bsos it regularly. its some kind of standard or something.

ouch. my wrist/hand feels numb...

so today was a laid back day. we slept in alittle. went to target. new jeans.

get home. shower.

then we leave for cinco de mayo, a mexican restaurant. it was pretty dank tonight, as usually its kinda soggy. nice.

on the way home, which includes a sharp turn, at the bottom of the hill, we had an accident. it was pretty fucked up. i hate teenage drivers.

Image

we were hit on the driver side. hollys dad was driving, me sitting behind him. holly was laying in my lap. hollys mom riding shotgun.

i saw the car, and had time to think "theyre going too fast" and before i put a period on that sentance, we collided.
Image

hollys dads neck was hurt some, and my arm/wrist was smashed inthe door. no blood from anyone, but im sure we'll get bruises tomorrow.
i hit my head on the window glass. first time it didnt bust when i was in a wreck.
Image

neither door will open or shut right. you can slam it shut, and pry it open. or neither in my doors case. the frame is bent in touching the seats. im surprised it didnt hurt her car much. (honda accord, front driverside turning light busted, and some of the fiberglass was broken.

so i guess now i have not so much as i thought, and i have to start my homework which i should have done yesterday.

send us love. lifes being a bitch.

Oh shit Brian.

Thank goodness no one was hurt seriously. Much love from me. Wishing you guys the best. Take care of yourselves.

Rednecks can't drive either? I thought only FOBs around here can't drive.

I'm hoping that the other driver was insured?

whats a FOB?
... and no, rednecks cant drive for shit.

the girl is a senior in high school, and she had insurance so everythings covered. she was crying a lot though... i think she was at her boyfriends (across town from where she lives) and she wasnt supposed to be.

my back hurts kinda bad. i was laying down with my seatbelt on when it happened, so i got twisted weird and it hurts. this was the first car wreck ive ever been in... so i was sort of shook up.

gonna go get in the hot tub. hopefully our small injuries stay small and we wont have to go to the doctor.

Be careful Holly, whiplash can take up to 48 hours to start hurting. It might be way worse tomorrow, so don't put any strain on it that you don't have to. No heavy books in a back pack or anything.

Holy hell guys. I'm glad you both are ok for the most part. That could have been so much worse judging by the pictures of the damage. I hope you guys don't get whplash or anything like that as Emily mentioned. My best wishes to you both. Hope things look up after the wreck.

dude !!! I hate that you were in a car accident!!!!!!!!!

Holly be super careful, this was your first one and you were in a wierd possition. Take my advice and report ALL your injuriest to the insurance company! Exagerate!! I'm telling you!! They will pay you restitutions. I got in a bad car accident and I tried so hard for 6 months to get better, and when I finally did, they insurance company gave me 1 measly 1000 bucks.. for something that was not my fault at all. Tell them how your neck and your back hurts.. its called soft tissue damage. they will send you for physical therapy at places.. its all free.. TAKE IT ALLL!! do everything they say to get better... every time they ask you if its better.. say it still hurts.. in 1 to two years you will get 20 thousand dollars.

also they will have doctors givin you therapy until its better

if you just try and soak it off in hot tubs.. u get nothing and u could be damaged for life.

hope you dont make the same mistake I did

ben bennilus sent brian a message about a new nashville footbagger that just joined .org! turns out he goes to lee's high school and there are 2 other guys interested in footbag! we are having our first official NFB shred this sunday at 5pm!!!!! finally we have some footbaggers! (lee said the new guy can clipper!) yaaaaaaayyyy!!!! ill have some people to progress with! maybe we will learn things together!

i stitched a lot today. i love doing orders with multiple bags... cause i get bored stitching one so alternating between two patterns is fun.

Hey glad to see you guys are OK after the accident. Cool that stuff with the new players is promising. Tell Lee that the Austin crew says hi. I've got a pretty funny pic of him in my worlds gallery (see sig), and also plenty of pics of you guys.

Teh lady and I will be driving to Asheville, NC around New Years-ish for vacation. Nashville and Knoxville are on the way on I-40 so we should definitely chill if you guys are around. Amber's not into footbag at all but she is interested in learning to stitch. So yeah hopefully we can hang out on the way there or the way back, definitely doesn't have to be footbag related though. EDIT: oh yeah, she's an art student like you guys, so you should defintiely get along.

Take care

Ben
