So Andrew is visiting for the weekend, and we had our first session together since I came to Waterloo. We used my new Eskimo Joe bag for the first time, which looks and plays great

I've been playing tons of footbag lately
Today was the 5th day in a row that I've played, and my first solo session in quite a while. I drilled stepping lots and hit a bunch of new stuff:
~Blender BS
~Sidewalk BSOS
~Ripwalk BSOS
~Blur BSOS
~Stepping op/same Clip BS
~Stepping op/same Legover BS
~Mirage>Illusion>SS Mirage rpt
I also came unbelievably close to blurry whirl! I think that will be my first five

After I started working, and Cassy moved out to go to university, footbag ended for me.
Four months later, Cassy is back home for a while, and I am off work for a few months, so the time, energy, and motivation that I lacked the past while has come back to me. The time spent at YEAH in Rochester, with some super-cool dudes has also played a part in my decision to start playing again.
So yeah, I'm back, hopefully for a long run. I think the goals in my brain are a little more founded than before, and I plan on using this free time to up my game a little bit.
And Cassy is becoming killer! It makes me all warm and fuzzy thinking back to when we would play some hacky-numbers and get up to like 6 kicks. Time flies, we just celebrated one year as a foot-couple!
I'd like to give shout-outs to Paul Agostinelli and Chris Dean for making YEAH a sweet-ass event, and just being cool. Shout-outs to everyone who made it to that event as well!

I need to footbag more often!
Two weeks ago tomorrow I woke up and the room was spinning rapidly (no drinking was involved
). A trip to the hospital soon revealed that I had vertigo
For three solid days I couldn't stand without getting dizzy and almost falling over let alone footbag..
The dizzyness and nausea lingered for about a week, and I finally felt well enough to footbag again for the first time this past Wednesday. I was so pumped to have my health (and balance) back that I had a two hour session four days in a row.
My pixies are getting pretty easy now, gotta work on stepping some more.
New stuff:
~Smear>PLO rpt
~Torque bsos
~Smudge bs
~22 Osis
~Pixie ss Mirage b2b
~Magellan>Legover rpt
~Ducking Mirage
~Pickup>DLO rpt
~Legover>DLO rpt
~ss Mirage>DLO rpt
~8 contacts of Infinity>Whirl rpt
~10 contacts of Infinity>rev Whirl rpt
I think my body needs rest.. but footbag is just too much fun!

Thanks guys
I would really like to make a video, but it probably wont happen for a while. The power cord for my camera got messed up somehow, so I am waiting for a replacement that I ordered on ebay. Also, I don't really have a very good place to make a video until the weather warms up (I play in a cluttered basement right now). I will try and make something as soon as I can.
Apparantly the vertigo was due to some sort of inner ear imbalance. I have no idea why I got it, apparantly its really uncommon in people under, like, 40
. It sucked, but I think its gone for good now (hopefully!). I'm taking some medication to keep it from returning.
Tom: Next time you see any FATties if you could drop off my lavers with them that would be sweet, I see them more often than I see you. Or if not, I might mission to Oakville one of these days to pick them up. You'll have to let me know what days you 905ers get together to play hack!
