You Know You're a Footbag Noob When... (funny)

Post by Jorden »

You know you're a Footbag noob when:

- you think a rainbow is worth 50 points
- you are positive that you invented the side of the head stall
- you think [DEX] are what surround a house
- you think [DEL] is a brand of computer
- you think Footbag was invented by hippies
- you are sure there are only two tricks: jester and toe stall
- your consecutives record is 30 -- all one side
- no matter how good a freestyler performs in front of you, you always say your friend/cousin is better (it is so true. LOL!)
- toe pickups (scraping the bag) are a way of life
- you think Footbag is a misnomer for Hacky Sack

What you're saying a rainbow isn't 50 points?! I've been living a lie.

Id like to add.
You know you are a noob when...
-The concept of using your weak leg never occured to you.
-"It would be TOTALLY cool if there was hacky sack tournaments"
-"Guys look at this new move"..heheh

...more later.
Everyone should add their own.

then you were taught by freestylers.

I had a bunch of those in the beginning, except I could do 132 right insides instead of 30 :-) I always wanted hacky sack tournaments. We knew they existed but didn't know about footbag. We just thought it was based on style control, use of kicks and tricks, and maybe hacks.

And man, I was a toe pickup master. Give me a sipa and I can do a spatch set butterfly, mirage, or legover.

Wait wait wait...

That's like...my goal, if I pick up a Hacky Sack. I want to immediately dispatch it to some undisclosed elevated location where no one may use it ever again.

But back on topic: :)

- When you see a circle of hacky sackers and you intend to show them up by executing a pendulum. (Y'know, that's always seems to be the trick I get asked if I can do.)

Well.. how about this;
Hacky Sack = Brand, needs to die
Hacke[/]y sack = School kicking circles, or what they kick with.

Having said that, let me amend my last post...

- Kicking hackey sacks onto roofs and trees constantly

New one...

- You try to boot the hackey sack as hard as you can

Whats noobish (is that a word? :P ) about asking what bag to buy? If you're new then you have very little idea whats good and whats bad.

Lol, dude, read your post again. If they are new, and thus asking about which bag to buy, they are therefore a newby. :D

That's not /\/00|3!$|-|, that's trying to advance your game. Once you decide how much you like the merkin, and want to explore, that's not really a n00b question.

Hah. I love the last one, 'cause I still do it. Not specifically with paradox, but a few days ago I posted asking what frontside / backside meant.
