Yea..the toe are is HUGE, alot bigger than my Lavers, but my toe are on my lavers are like baseball gloves, and the Quantums are like a flat deck. But i still like them alot. I think once i get them broken in a little bit they will be insane. The material is still kinda stiff. I also havent been able to really crank my ankles with as good with the Quantums. Overall they are a great shoe, if they have them in your size you should pick them up. Heck they didnt have them in my size, but i went down a size and they still fit good.

The toe is beautiful, got a new record on consecutive toe stalls today (left and right) 25!

May not be much to most of you guys, but its better than the 3 i got with my lavers

25 is pretty good. I think I have gotten like 50 alternating toe stalls before. I usually get like 25-30. But I must be getting adjusted to the Quantums bc I am having awsome sessions with these shoes.

I think everyone should buy quantums. They shred and by purchasing them you are supporting the company that is doing the most to legitimize the sport.

We are at an amazing time in footbag where the level with which we support things makes a gigantic difference to the progress we make.

Totally, thats the main reason I bought the Quantums, they didnt even have my size, so I went down a size, but they still work great.

Alright i Had a decent shred a while ago and the quantums helped alot.

I was nailin clippers and inside stalls, outside stalls and toe stalls like hell!

I really like them and my olny problem is when i didn't lace them tight enough and the inside fabric started to get scruched up and bounced the footbag...but after re-tieing them the problem was solved.

If you want to get truely involved in the sport of footbag i suggst you buy quantums

I really do.

The question is about the grip of the shoe though: What is it like on indoor surfaces, like gym floors? Lavers kill me in that department and it's hard to find somewhere not slippery, especially once they start wearing in around the toe area.

If anyone who can shred at a decent enough level (i dunno, consistant strings of 3-4-5 adds, of course guiltless) give me some feedback regarding that I would be really appreciative.

My toe box is ripping :[. The Rubber is soft and no harder bottom? Why isn't it one long material for the tongue so there isn't that spot where I stall it it hits that little bit of material joining the two pieces?

I still love them but they are a little cheaply made imo. I still like them more than lavers.

I have yet to try them on a gym floor, but I have found them to be a bit slippery on outdoor surfaces, on concrete they are really good and fine but on like smooth stone stuff i was slipping all over it was a little annoying but not to bad. On carpet they were very good, no problems at all. Hope this helps. I think they are a really good shoe there is room for some improvement but over all they rock.

These are the best shred shoe I have ever played with.

I have 3 pairs of lavers, climas, and these, so it's not really a noobish opinion (although it is, kinda.

these shoes are really good, ive had no problems with mine.

usually when you first get them they are a tad slippery, but after a few sessions, they get more grip to them which is nice. I have no ripping, no tearing, and no problems with the shoe at all.

all in all i give it a 10/10

i think this shoe has made my form a ton better too

sorry if i ask a question that has been asked before, but i dont know wich size i have to pick. my old quantums were a tad smaller in the same size than my lavers, and now i am playing in size 9 gunits, wich are super tight and fitting perfect, what size should i pick for quantums? anyone who plays size 9 goonitz? thanks for the help

hi marco. don't know if this helps. i had size 9.5 in g-units 1 year ago. then I had 9.5 in qm01 and now size 10 in qm02. I guess you may need a 9.5.

Hey Jan,

I just wanted to commend you on the Quantum 2.0s. These are what I am usng now and will likely use for a long time coming.

Finally the best shoe in footbag is an actual FOOTBAG shoe! What a thrill. We're finally independent now, thank god.

I was originally skeptical, because the Q1 did not fulfill my expectations. The material was too slick and not durable enough and the strip around the toe came undone after a while.

With the Q2s I've improved leaps and bounds on my hands and feet juggling in a short amount of time. The consistency I've gained is remarkable.

I'd like to make a quick critique on the Q2 and throw around some suggestions for a future model:

Pros:

- no modding!
- TOE box is the best yet!! (good release on sets, sloped up for less rolloff)
- more durable material on the surfaces
- shoe has better frame (structure) than Q1
- I no longer needed to remove the walls or do a Brocka mod
- stock sole is easily removed and no need to purchase new laces

Cons:

- after playing on grass or simply over time the sole pattern erodes and becomes rather slippery
- the area on the outside surface next to the strip running around the toe is starting to develop a hole (noticeable on both shoes). This is mainly due to scraping the ground when catching really low swirls. And you can't blame my form because many moves (ex. blurriest swirl) require the low swirl and I also have wide feet, which doesn't help.

- uhh, that's about it!

Suggestions:

- for the next model (if the budget allows) aim for a gumshoe or similar sole, or something with tread that won't erode over a short period of time.
- HEEL BOX!! I would still love to see a a good shred shoe with a heel box. It would open up a whole new universe of moves that we can't even begin to imagine yet.
- size 12.5 and 13!!!! Pretty self-explanatory. Some players out there (like myself) have big-ass feet. I can barely fit into 12s, your biggest size.
- Bring back pure white!! Nothing looks sharper than a new pair of white kicks. This would be huge for me personally because I could use them to develop a professional black-light performance.
- include a patch of a stronger material on the outside surface closer to the toe that can take the abuse of the low swirls. The hole in that area is a recurring problem with many people's shred shoes that I've seen over the years.
- include TOE WALLS CAPS, much like the new heel cap you introduced on the Q2s. If you leave it up to the player to form their walls properly, chances are they'll mess it up. :p
Know what I mean? Like, 2 small curved pieces made of hard plastic on the interior of the eyelets closest to the toe, to maintain the proper shape of the toe wall that won't interfere with one's game.

When i was trying to do a lace mod the eyelet's metal rings, on the inside, fell off on a few of te eyelets. And the eyelets cut into the laces making it fray like hell and turned my laces into a thousand little threads connected by the aglet( the plastic end of the lace)

Its no big problem, jsut gotta buy new laces, but its pretty annoying
