That photo you got of me is cool. I can count my cavities.
Nathan
It was so cool to finally meet you too, Nathan
It was nice to hang out with you the little bit that we did. I really liked that you liked my Peng bag so much. It told her, trying to explain that if Nathan Pipenberg wanted it for competition, then it must be awesome... but I don't think she understood :p

Young Pipenberg,
You are a cool cat. I am also fairly into biking and have a Schwinn Paramount SS that was my dad's track bike in the 70's that I recently fixed up. It's the dopeness. Someone should start a fixed gear/ss modified thread, seems like a lot of people on here ride them. See you in Prague.

been a while. updates for those who care, and thoughts for me to look back on.
first off, reading those posts from after worlds above me brightened my spirits!
new years resolutions
-play footbag with Dave and Scott. Last year someone asked dave and I if we played a lot together, and he answered no. that hurt, but it's true.
-bike 2000 miles
-learn to talk to people who are older than me and therefore,
-become better friends with footbag players.
-be friends with my brothers
-compliment deserving people
I bike a lot now. Road and offroad, but not much fixed gear riding. I am getting a three speed Raleigh for commuting instead.
I want to be better friends with footbag players, but sometimes I feel like such a little kid comparatively.
shrug, life's good. i sound like a baby, but maybe that's what happens when you think about stuff too much.

Here's something I wrote after worlds that I just found on my computer. I actually summed up my feelings quite well writing this. Also, there are some lies in here that makes the story sound better and more concise to my English teacher.
This summer marked the first time my parents allowed me to go on a trip by myself. I created my own itinerary to Disney World, took a flight to Orlando by myself and spent ten days in a resort home with other teenagers and mid-twenties. I didn’t go to the beach. I didn’t strap into the Space Mountain roller coaster, and I never had my picture taken with Mickey Mouse in the Magical Kingdom. I play footbag, and the 2007 IFPA Footbag World Championships were hosted at the Wide World of Sports Complex on Disney premises.
Had I approached my parents with a plea to take a vacation anywhere else, I probably would have spent the summer in State College. In fact, because I would be competing at the event, my parents and I both knew I wouldn’t spend the nights partying and the days sleeping off whatever happened the night before.
Still, I was planning to have fun, despite how anxious I was about the trip and my performance. Some of my very best friends are the ones that I’ve met at footbag tournaments around the Northeast. And in the age of the internet, I even have evidence to back this up; I have more friends on Facebook who play footbag than who go to this high school.
But I couldn’t pretend that I was feeling my nerves act up as I stepped away from my mother and through the gate on my way to Disney. Before I could see my friends and feel safe again, I would have to make a connection in Philadelphia and direct a taxi driver to my resort in an unfamiliar city.
But lo and behold, I arrived in good spirits and safety. My anxiety immediately melted into excitement as I walked into the resort room—at 1 o’clock in the morning no less—and saw faces that I could finally connect to internet aliases.
As the week flashed by, my mood changed with it. Every day was precious in that the passing hours were a countdown to when I would have to leave. The last day was unbearable from the moment I woke—half the residents of my resort house had left already. It was a feeling similar to the last day of school, but every student at school who I never talked to was replaced by a fellow footbag player who I would miss dearly.

Hey Nathan, how's things?
Just wanted to stop by and ask if you are still playing regularly? You have one of the best styles ever, so fun to watch.
And always remember, you can fairy better than Dave.

Henry, I play 2 or 3 times a week. Dave is getting better at the fairy set too.
Yesterday I played and I can remember hitting these things:
fs blur>bs atom
pdx whirl>step whirl
bs sumo
which are all new combos. I think Dave will make a video.
I'm in the process of making some new t-shirts. I will post the design here soon.

I'm feeling kind of like I'm going nowhere lately so I'll make a list of things to be done:
- burn all of my new t shirt designs onto screens and then make the shirts
- finish my bag for chris balch
- ask this girl out to junior prom
- clean my bike and rewrap its handlebars so I can sell it
- apply for a summer job at the golf course
- save my money to buy a golf pass by the end of March
- hit my weight goal of 140 by the end of the month
