Friggin nerd-tacular. Everyone wore glasses, and pushed them up there noses while laughing in a high pitch. I did however get a cool gear motor with a beveled gear on the end.

I figured a "robot building meeting" would be full of suave international playboys. Go figure.
EDIT - NYJ:
I just tried to look up info on rates for a suite and for a shred room at McCormick Place, but had no luck with either. The Hyatt Regency McCormick Place's online rate finder utility is down right now, and there were no rates availabe online (that I could find) for the shred room.
Probably better to look into this when not at work. But hopefully we can get an idea of the costs early on.

I'm looking at Eric, Tim, Tom, and Zeke...
Even I don't have a copy of this tape! I'm not even sure if a copy can be obtained at this point but I'll personally look into it for you.
I have James footage that's been captured off VHS tapes (from a VHSC camera) that I could burn onto dvd if you are interested. I'm thinking some of that may have been on that DVD Reile gave you when you were here, though.
Zeke
Funny movie titles if the movie were about poop:
Red
Fast & the Furious
The Green Mile
Children of the Corn
There Will be Blood
And the shred room rates won't be available on the web site, not even over the regular reservation phone line. We have to call the sales department. The reservation people will give us the number. And suite-wise you have to call like 10 times until you get a good deal, at least that's how the past many years have been.
Ahhh. That makes no sense but that doesn't surprise me too much.
Well, should I leave this (or at least the suite) to you guys since you've been through the process before? Not really sure how to proceed with the shred room, I don't want to book it, I just was wondering how much it cost. Could just email Steve G for that.
Seems like knowing (roughly) the overall cost as soon as possible would be good.
It was either 100 bucks a night or for both nights. I will call on the shred room for sure.
The suite is another matter that we should talk about to see if we still want it. The shred room serves the purpose well of allowing us to congregate after McCormick Place closes. I think maybe we couldn't bring food there, but I'll ask about that.
I'm sure some of y'all may still want it. I'm just trying to eschew it because it is a headache to fill it (without people changing their minds), and then collect money for (I've been shorted each time), and make sure nothing happens to it (no probs here, but I always stress on it).
I guess the pro of having the suite is a place to make pancakes for everyone or to party at night. Seeing drunk Mahoody is usually worth it.
