I hope I can be of assistance Rory.
2 more weeks! I can't wait. I have been drilling every other day for about 1.5 hrs and every day for 30-45 mins as of late.
I have never planned a Shred 30 let alone do one, I am a little worried about that. It would be nice to break 100! If anyone has tips for a mostly titless player, I am all ears! I have my sick 3 figured out, just have to hit it, and I am planning a cool big 1.
I am hoping to bring 6-8 bags, some caribou and/or charr, some lead and a few extra pre-cut bags.
I plan on serving the caribou frozen and raw, but you dip it in soya sauce before you eat it. So goooood. The charr is served in the same way too. Maybe I will bring an Ulu, an Inuit womans knife that is round.
I can't wait to meet everyone!
Erik, will you be making bubble tea by any chance? I would love to try some.

I don't know when anyone else, except Andrew, is arriving, but if you let me know in advance (before Thursday evening) I can pick anyone up from anywhere. I will need to know in advance, because otherwise I won't have a vehicle until later in the evening.
My phone number is (204) 952-6zero82.
If for some reason I don't answer, I have an answering machine on my home phone that I will hopefully think to check: (204) 489-539zero.

byrin said he'd be arriving at around 8:15pm, so no need to worry about him. rory is arriving at 11:25 am, and the 2 minnesota guys also said they would be arriving around mid morning, but i don't know when. As for kevin and adam, i have no idea when they will be getting in. i'm going to try to give them a call right now to see when they expect to be arriving. i don't think they are on modified so i'm gonna give them my cell number as well as yours, erik.

Derek and Byrin went head to head playing the Finnish 6-add game. (North American rules: xdex inclusion
)
Max. 3 tries per round, pass if you hit a trick, first person to hit a total of 3 tricks more than the other person wins. Make sense? Here's the tricks they hit, video to follow:

Derek

spinning PS whirl
spinning blender
nuclear torque <---a 7, but who's counting
blurry torque
stepping PS whirl
spinning ducking pdx whirl
stepping pdx blender

Byrin was trying stepping PS eggbeater for those final few rounds...kept footing it but just couldn't stick it. Then, once Derek had won, Byrin immediately bsos'd it. Silly.
They also threw down with a 7 add game, same rules. Byrin won pretty handily on this one.

spinning ducking pdx blender

I'm sure you'll all agree soon enough.

Dude, that trick is HARD. I'm serious. I mean...wow, that is like...flipbook material, right there.
...and so clean.
edit: I forgot to mention it was also controlled.

This is a little late, but I added a write-up to http://www.hackrifice.com
