thanks for such positive feedback
ive been really lucky recently ive been getting seriously the luckiest run with the media they all help me promote really well
i also wanted to do cool tricks without making them all so hard that people thought that it was just impossible.
those girls were tourists actually
and the host said
okay dan time for me to pull a couple of scorthers
then he just went around for like 2minutres and came back with them ahahha
he was really funny we were actually gioing to do me kicking it and iot landing in peoples coffee after bouncing off all these different things with stupid cutshiots but it was too stupid to make it on tv haha
most countries have sserious news channels and then one or two which arent quite that serious
you just ring them up and say that you think you might have a story idea
for a human interest story they will say `go on`
then you say you play this really hip new sport called footbag which is just starting to get a name for itself and that you either recently went or are going soon to the world championships to represent your country (thats the bit which is news worthy)
you offer to send them with some some basic info (from footbag.org) and a few videos (one of you, one of a vasek routine) just so they can get a feel for it and then follow them up with a fone call about 2 to 3 days later if they havent responded and asking how they went with the info then they will know you are asking to do the story and you really want to do it so they will probably tell you straight up at that point yes or no
if they say no ask where else might be interested in doing a story and get name and number then say that jim morrison from channel 10 or whoever recomended you which may help a little but will just make thigns a little less awkward to begin with
cancel anything to fit in with them and dress well !
