Verena and Alex at talent show in TV

hi!

verena and me performed for a talent show in austrian private tv. it was recorded in july one week before euros and was now aired. there are like 9 shows with each 7 showacts and 2 winners advance to finals.

the 3 judges (some austrian prominents, one of them was Toni Polster, a soccer legend) voted 1 winner of each show and the tv audience another winner via sms and telephone voting.

our part is already over and the judges voted this band "freilaut"

and the audience voted the "Schuhplattlergruppe Westendorf"

That was awesome! You guys nailed it!!

I think it came off really well and the crowd could see and understand to some degree what you were doing.

"schuhplattln" is a folk dance which you can not really translate ("shoe"plattln) and westendorf is a small town in the alps of austria. so it's the "shoeplattlergroup from Westendorf"

when we arrived at the studio i thought that we would never have a chance against those cute cheerleaders, but now I know who the real showstars are

the show had ~ 43000 viewers, not too many but still okay.
