Studying all morning on an hour of sleep after an 8 hour road trip destroyed me during my test. I was so tired that the words all blurred together and I actually had some trouble deciphering whether I was being presented with a question or an answer (multiple choice test) and thus, i bombed the test. worse than bombed it.

Got majority of the way through Metal Gear Solid 2 though. woo!

want to shred today. but want to beat that game more.

this thread really shows where my priorities are.

Girls are cute

just figured out where i'm gonna take my game next. I've been drilling downtime components for over 2 years now. mostly whirl, dlo, egg, and torque. It's time to get the pdx versions as consistent as the downtime components.

got far symple swirl b2b in Idaho :o

may do some filming today, will most likely do homework instead.

zac: there's no way I'll hit flurricane, i've never hit flurry. only barraging legover. but sometimes I can pull things out of my rectum.

wish that I was playing as good as I was at Worlds. My legs have felt weak ever since.

I've gained about 15 lbs since worlds. YAY!! Don't think it's healthy weight though. BOO!!

what else can I ramble about?...

am going to try and see if NYJ is a possibility. If it is, then I won't go to SJFF

Have been reading about the collapse of modern english and how it's not only void of visual imagery, but a lot of modern prose uses sayings that are hackneyed and thus have lost a lot of their meaning (i.e. tow the line, etc). Relying on these sayings also shows our laziness by taking away our ability to think of new creative sayings. pretty interesting stuff.

edit: also forgot to mention that my qualifying routine for Idaho only had 2 drops. that's my least ever. WOO!! But had some problems with the final routine. The music was started before I gave the signal and then the whole thing escaped my brain. Plus the stage was VERY slippery. it was fun though.

I love rippin' run. Wish Dylan would've come to finals. He would have definitely beat me. My legs were 1000lb weights and sluggish. I'd much rather get last place then win by default. I just wanted to do a long string against someone. The placement doesn't matter to me. Was stoked to beat Justin Dale though.

Rainy/laundry/sick day.

Haven't played footbag for couple weeks.

Got to jam with a full band (me on keyboard) It was amazing. I've been playing a lot of keyboard lately. Now I basically can find any chord.

Almost have the money guys. Sorry I'm such a broke ass bitch. It's the first time in my life I have ever owed anyone money. Tom Cruz.

I feel kinda strange posting in this blog these days considering Kevin is probably downstairs as I write most of the time. Regardless, the Idaho jam was a lot of fun. Every time I visit Boise, I can see myself living there more and more. I'm seriously looking for excuses to move there when I'm done with school in Montana.

The shred down there was good. I had a couple of really good sessions with Nick Landes and Justin Dale too, even though Justin is really intense about shred and often times quite negative. I feel kinda bad about spending most of the Saturday's shred time visiting with a friend of mine from the area. But I did hit some cool tricks anyway.

For the first time in my life, I've been gaining weight. I came out of the woods weighing 158 lbs, now I'm up to 172.5! I get the feeling that most people get annoyed or self-conscious when I tell them I'm trying to gain weight, but I have as hard a time gaining weight as some people have losing it.

I'm also pretty excited about the thread I started in The Kicking Circle. If you're reading this and haven't told me about what makes you happy, do it. I'll bet you'll feel better about yourself afterward. I also enjoy reading about what makes other people happy, except for Aaron Orton. His post made me uncomfortable.

And props to Kevin on Super Mario (symp marius). Do you find your spins are better out of zooms than out of normal clippers?

Forgot that I also hit gyro symp whirl for the first time yesterday.

have a test on friday. it got moved to monday, which leaves more time for shred and metal gear solid 2. It's just about completed. on very easy mode

Learned a word that makes me think of footbag not only because of the word itself, but its meaning:

Hackneyed- to make common or frequent use
ex) It appears that my bops are hackneyed

Just beat Metal Gear Solid 2 and am kind of bitter about it. The end boss was the weakest boss in the whole game and the ending was terrible. Can't believe I wasted 3 straight days playing that :?

On a different note, the youtube video for KevinCrowley2 has 1115 views. holy cow!

2 of my 3 classes today got cancelled. that brings the tally up to aroun 20 cancelled classes already this semester. it's the 4th week of school. what's up with that?

I was screwin' arround with a footbag last night and I hit nallegam for the first time. Can't wait to bust that one out at today's MFA session. Too bad Jere won't be able to make it, he's going frisbee golfing with the flyers. I'd like to see Jere shred with us at out official sessions more often, but I guess he's got his own set of priorities.

I've got to get three more signatures to make our club official. We missed the deadline to get funding for journies to tournies. Apparently ASUM was really liberal in giving out money for student group travel this year. But, since we don't have official dates for SJFF, we can't put in for funding. I don't mind hoteling it in Seattle. I would like to visit my sister in Seattle while I'm there, but she's moving to Washington DC in a couple of weeks.

I just watched a journey DVD, but had to bail to go to school. I've got classes canceled too, and assignments due dates pushed back. It seems like my professors are taking this semester less seriously than I am.

I can't get over how awesome Journey is!

Zeb: there is no meryl in Metal Gear Solid. The females are Emma Emerich, Rosemary, and Fortune. There is a meryl reference though when the a virus starts affecting the AI as well as references from the previous games including the NES version.

Just got done with the official MFA shred. Got interviewed by a friend from the University paper that's going to write an article and make an online media project on our group. Image

Footbag was good today. everything felt really slow, controlled, and low effort. Those days are why I play. also noticed that my strong mullet and strong montage use different sides...weird

-gyro diving whirl>string sealed with blurrier
-lots of bsos ps whirls
-blender>spinning swirl bs
-symp ddd *new trick*
-vortex>mullet
-montage (dexed in the knee pocket so was super stoked)
-footed food processor>montage :D

I didn't care for MGS2 that much because most of the game took place in that orange platform base, and the gameplay sort of blended together, although the first stage in that ship was pretty sweet. MGS3: Snake Eater's the best of the series for me, also for PS2. If you haven't played that yet, check it out!
