If you end up making it out to Seattle you should talk to Matt and Alex about preforming. Matt has also started this thing where a bunch of performers get together and do their acts in front of each other and then critique each other to help them get better and one of those will be happening during sjff weekend.

This is me NOT flying through the air looking all mean and stuff. A rare photo.

I'm shooting 'Park Session 3' as part of a fundraiser for my Colombia trip. Expect to see some trick inventions and new concepts and stuff. For $10 (PayPal is [email protected]) I will send you this 10-min long (roughly) high-res video over MSN. Feel free to add me if you want, even if it's just to say hi -- [email protected] . I will let you know when it's ready!!

The voting for Top 25 of FAMECAST has started!! Please vote and get your friends to do so too!! I have thought of some big plans for the money that would help footbag in a big way.

See ya,
JM

I think the link you posted is for you to be able to access and edit your own gallery. There should be another link you can post which would allow everybody to see the photos.

Looking forward to it.

I don't have a clue what those last two moves are. Trick names are gay.

I think paratrooper is a downtime delusional legover (like "double" eggbeater")...?

Good luck in Colombia, Jorden!!

IMO trick names can be neither gay nor straight. For us players to use such a vocabulary can some times be unnesessary. It's silly to use a lot of these new names that very few people know. Footbag players don't need to sound pretentious. Like Ianek told me at Wakahakee "just define the trick".

ps, trick names are gay.

Good luck in Columbia Jorden!!!! :D :D :D

-=Tuesday, Oct.16th, 2007=-

Arrived back in Bogota (Colombia´s capital) this morning.
South American Championships were a pretty big success. I think the level of play here if very underestimated.

Some big tricks I saw players hit:

- alpine whirlygig (won Open Big 3)
- torch-r rack
- frantic butterfly
- symp torque

Alvaro (the person I´m staying with) is double-jointed and can hit anchor in front of his body (my request) by holding his foot. 8O

My performance has kinda gone in waves. The 14th was probably my best day.

- muted barraging ss swirl (both sides)
- whirling ducking clipper (inspired by Dave)
- infinity symp revup
- splicing PS whirl :!:
- slicing pdx mirage > atomic drifter
- blurry maverick
- quantum ducking whirl (missed hand catch)

Colombia is absolutely stunning. In Medellin there are large villages in the mountains that surround the city and look crazy when lit upat night. Yesterday we went to a lookout point in the center of the city where you could see Medellin in a full 360 degrees. Daaaamn.

On a side note, the voting scheme for Famecast has now changed. You are now able to vote for videos EVERY DAY instead of just once per round!!!
For this reason my standing has kinda dropped a lot cuz I haven´t been able to tell people.
Please vote as many days as possible when the new round starts on October 18th!!!

Adios amigos.

I knew they had inflation down there, but that's ridiculous.
