12.09.07

Nice session in the oly today. Everybody was in a good mood
and made some cool runs, links or tricks. :)

My favorite moment was...

pdx whirl bsos

I hit 3 pdx whirls in a short run. First I hit one pdx whirl from
the right clipper side > easy toe tricks > pdx whirl from the right side again and all I said after the second pdx whirl was "damit this is the wrong side!" > far legover > pdx whirl from the left clipper (finally) ^^

Thanks to all for the good times - Bea you rock !!! Hard.
Please remember everything about your (mental) game, you were
so positive and fresh and i thank kickflippin jesus that you found your
way back to your shuffle madness .
Give me a bit of your stepping for xmas, will you  ?

i hit spinning whirl again :D !

I had a good time with "bigger tricks" today, also managed to hit
pixie dlo with ease into a run, pixie drifter first try, butterfly swirl,
phoenixes into runs ( cake ), zulu mirage, toe blur bsos alot and so on.

But i made a mistake during warm up - ignoring the fact that i really
do need to work on all clipper trix before i do runs - so my balance
was shitty and my strings short . That fucked up my mental game too,
and i lacked confidence and control for some odd 30 minutes.
Max also had problems with his string lenghth, but we fought our way thru
to decentness , his best run was 17, my best 15 contacts !
Bea was shining, good style as always, happy-faced throughout, and
some unexpected shreddage like pdx whirl trisos .
And i also like to mention that both the Hunters did some ducking pdx mirages for me :D
Andreas was doing really well, he got a nice new pb of 11 ss clipper,
nice progression from his previous three, and his dexing skills getting
smoover everytime i see him play .

My highlights :

tapping legover>dso

stepping ss mirage>terrage>short run

atom>dim>blur>run

atom>toe blur>butterfly swirl

stampede>smear>short run ( glimpse of hope )

a run with paradon>d.mirage and ducking butter bsos

and some more stuff that isnt new, but happy-making :

pdx dlo bsos first try again, toe blur bsos lots, spinning clip>d.mir bsos,
tap>atom>rpt>run, d.mir>d.leg>rpt>run...

Can't rember any of my links only Legbeater > Ducking Butter bsos
and 4x Ducking Butter (yeah that's 100% more than my old record ;))
But I was pissed midway through the session (stupid mental game), but the good thing is 6 months ago would my runs yesterday been awesome. So I still can be happy :D

he he nice picture Tobi. Hope the kicking goes well! I noticed the pic in your signature with the outlines of the Munich skyline. I always wanted to include this in our logo. Any ideas? When we have this graphic I could make (or rather buy) t-shirts with that logo!!! That would be an awesome x-mas suprise for us all.

A munich footbag shirt would be nice :D

I had a very nice training with Daryl yesterday. I would call this session
"A big step forward session".
We started with easy kicking and clipper stuff. After that I tried some clipper drifter and finally I hit it on both sides. Now I know what I have to do when I set the bag. My timing is much better and it´s not longer a little miracle when I hit this trick.
Now something about my old friend whirl. I think my whirl could be much better, I drop it to much and sometimes it´s really unsafe, primarily in runs. I have to drill, drill and drill this trick ^^
But not everything ist bad, my pdx whirl improved soooo much! I hit almost pdx whirl > pdx whirl yesterday. This trick feels so good, I like the way you have to set the bag, move your body and feet. At the moment this is my favorite trick.

At the next session I will drill my stepping and pixie :!:

Servus Munich Crew,

hellooo

a really great session yesterday with bea and daryl. I came a bit too late(stupid). For the beginning i practise the flipside clipper (again and again) Bea helped me a lot with moving my leg better.
Then i had a really long run for me:

mirage flipside mirage flipside legover mirage illusion legover clipper

and i learned a new trick

inside spinning

great session

Yup, that was a fun session indeed !

Bea and me went thru a lot of stuff before we started runs : bops, ducking,
a little spinning, lots of whirls and drifters . But the skoolest thing happened
when we worked on swirls - i really hope Bea wont forget to post her tricks.

I was in no mood to hit any fancy new drills and focused on playing in and
out of my freshly acqired clipper stuff, mainly drifters and whirls .

drifter>dlo bs, drifter>spin clip bs and drifter>gyro mirage ;
ducking clip>whirl>spin clip>rpt ;
butter>whirl>stepping leg>ss butter>whirl>stepping leg>run

Andi was drilling solo most of the time, taking up the hardest challenge
for a seventeen year old : flip clipper !
Other then his progress, playing in a two person circle with Bea for 2hrs
had a nice, intensifying side effect that was really rewarding .
Sometimes playing with only one partner can be really tough, but we
just got into dervish mode and played our hearts out, it felt like a
breakdance battle without the artificial hostility  !

She had a great day and i got to see a lot of cool shit . The vibe was
pure and intense, a lot of good runs with good built up and a fair
deal of variety .

The best feeling tricks for me were butterfly swirl and tapdown, the latter feels especially sexy if you mute it on purpose after a fast and accurate atomsmasher :P

dlo>atom>rpt first try

side>rip>butterfly swirl

zooming mirage

paradon>blur>paradon bs

pixie calf kick midstring

ripwalk>blur>pixie whirl first try everrrrr

some fives

Go Munich!
ripwalk>blur>pixie whirl first try everrrrr
Really like that combo. How about putting in an Atomsmasher?
Makes me wonder.. What is your record of unique tripless?

I really wanted to chat with you last night. But you where nowhere to be found. Atleast I got some homework done.

I hit ...
swirl bsos
whirl > swirl
symp whirl

Nice runs with stepping, pixie, ducking and whirl. It´s a great feeling to have so many different tricks in one run.

The best of all was that Andy made some "flipside" clipper, Daryl who made nice spinning, Liam and the beautiful weather :)

Here are 3 pictures from the Wiesn

If i may be so bold, you also hit two perfectly clean symp whirls, you silly girl :D and you played great, but i guess that i've already sid that .

@ Andi : i think you did a spinning inside stall ( starting from inside),
which was awesome btw, and really creative .
one question : do you really mean "flipside" or do you mean "same side"
when you talked about your run ?

@ Asmus : i was hiding, making some dark and rollin beats  !
and as for my tripless rec, i got a few drills with four unique, atom b2b
times 5, and two/tree unique tripless combos with 5 moves .
i'm positive that i could hit more, but i havent been working on that,
good idea tho .

@Jochen : get in contact with Andi, i think he could offer you shelter .
it would be nice if you came, we havent kicked/chatted in ages !

aber verdoppel deinen tiltless rekord TOMORROW 19:00 at OLYBAD

i look forward to see you all in shorts then :D
