Yeah I'll torque a haters face off!

I'm tired from working out all of the time and my back has been bothering me from playing footbag I think. Probably need to take a few days off of footbag. After that I think I'm gonna drill more stepping 5s and fearless links. Tired of hearing aaron shout out MORE FIVES all the time, the only way to shut it down is probably to hit more fives in my runs.
It's easier on the old body to just throw 3s and 4s though

There are a ton of fives that are easy on the "ol body" James. Ones that I know aren't a problem for you.

Hhey guys, this is that kid you shreddid with at the Market up in Eugene. Just popping in to say whats up. I've improved drastically since our last metting. Previously i hit swirl, and i can get it pretty good now on my strong side, flipsides almost there. Also my tiltless runs are becoming much more consistent. Wish i could shred again with people that are far better then me, but sadly no-one hear in the rouge valley plays that seriously (to my knowledge) But yeah, other things ive hit are same toe set drifter, ducking clipper, Tourqe, Hop over to reverse walkover, aand other things. See ya guys later. Cheers

haha the next time you shout out 5 i'm gonna bust out a spinning ducking osis and just shout out OHHHH!

But seriously, I should work on motions more too. They are pretty precise but a no impact 5. Plus I bet I could get locomotion really easily if I had a reasonable motion. For me blurriest is way easier than barfly so that might extend. I really like the look of motions.

Maybe we can have a motion monday or something. We should also kick this weekend away from the crazy market. How about a sunday session on campus away from the stupid turf field? More people/less soccer players. We don't have to kick in front of lillis, but we can find a flatter spot if you like. I hate the turf field we are always so close to landing on a stray soccer ball. :x

Had a two man with James today, the new kids were too upset by the college team losing to Cal, so they went home to eat ice cream and drink beer instead.

It was wet and uncomfortable, but we had music and a nice spot to play in, so we did what we do best, foozbag.

James hit a lot more fives today. Most memorable links were both blurry whirl > infinity swirl... then right after it blurriest > infinity swirl. He also got smog > pheonix off, and threw some fives midrun today in between his regular stuff. I'm happy for him, he's also gotten down to shred weight so watch out seattle, here comes James Erickson.

I hit some different stuff today too:
Fairy Gyro Whirl
Lots of Whirrs..
Double Blender > Gyro Mirage off my toe
Weak Blazing infinity a couple times
Rubberman for the first time in a while
A run with spinning whirl, gyro whirl, paradox whirl, and whirl all bsos
Reverse whirl X 6 > down double down
Spinning Osis > Reverse walkover
Outside set blurry whirl (Pixie whirl?)
+some other crap in the rain.

Any time you guys want to come over we would love to shred with you. Just pm me when you know you are coming and I will give you my phone number.

Had a shred session with nate today. Real fun session, felt a little rushed because I had to go back to the office afterwards for a close to all nighter... beh programming sucks. I'm finished now though and it is 2am so not too bad, but I've gotta be back at 8am tomorrow... er today

Best link of the day for me was:

infinity swirl>blurriest :D

Nate played really well too it is always so much fun to shred with him.

Where should we go though? (in case of bad weather)...P.S. Alex......I'm coming for you. *flex*....*clipper*...*flex*....*clipper*....*flex* lol

Yeah I'd love to get some footage of us online before too long. Aaron is still working on his worlds video and is super swamped with work and school. Maybe after he finishes his worlds video we can make a Eugene one. It's been over a year since we've put anything out. There really should be more Nasty Nate video for the world to see too. Hes been hitting some really different stuff lately and it looks cool.

Aaron, please confirm shred time tomorrow. can we do a 3pm? There is no ducks game this week so we should play in the middle of campus if no rain.

Session with the dudes today. Everyone played really well. New things for me: Phoenix>stepping ducking clip, Dimwalk swirl>torque, smog>dimwalk swirl.

We mostly did long runs, I had one longish run with only shuffle in it. It was probably my longest pure shuffle string... not sure how many contacts. My tomahawks are feeling really good lately too.

It's been too long since I've been in Eugene. I'll make a point of spending more time there over the winter break so I can get more shred time in with the hometown scene. I've been working on a few things up here in my free time. Is the whole crew coming up to SJFF this year? If not, I'll be in town over Thanksgiving weekend.

Prolly won't be making it into Corvallis for a while, but I might end up there for graduate school in a few years.

Yeah it would be cool to kick with you again. We are all going to SJFF of course. This will be my 5th time, and nate's 6th. It will be Aaron's first appearance at SJFF so he is going to have a blast.

Had a short early session with nate today. Did a lot of flipside stepping ducking and hit flipside ripped warrior again and was doing some mid run stepping ducking. Also did both matadors which felt pretty easy, will be nice when that stuff comes back and gets better mid run.

Yeah that was a fun session yesterday. Still haven't gotten that double spinning whirl though  . I'm glad Alex and Casey could make it out, I just wish the weather was a bit nicer so more drunk people could have watched the show. That one lady was hilarious, and Nate trying to swoon her with his no look shred was just as good.

Casey hit reverse whirl for the first time, a move he has really wanted for some time. Alex hit some really cool runs, ss clipper > ss mirage X4, and Nate had a run where he bailed to mobius three times Hah!. Props to James for hitting his triple dex combo which he has wanted for a long time. Maybe on Tuesday we can get Eddie out to kick and perhaps a future female eugene freestyler.

My favorite move of Nate's was......The Casanova.

Hey what's that trick??
I was talking to someone at Hackrifice about that British band who does "Wonder Wall", and I wanted to hit spinning ducking nova, and call it "Champagne Supernova (in the sky)"!! ('Cause I think spinning nova is "Supernova"...)

PS: What was James' triple dex combo? Smog > dimwalk swirl?

Yeah, smog > dimwalk swirl.

Casey called Nate's midrun clipper > around the ss shoulder > clipper a "casanova" because it was so smooooooth....
