I second that and want to add when someone says they "jewed something" or got "jewed." It's all just so annoying because it's accepted by so many people as being ok.

Although, I have to admit, if I were a racist/bigot like blue_turnip I'd probably also have a pet peeve towards people who didn't appreciate my douche-baggery too.

That is correct. Providing you meant "racist/(bigot like blue_turnip)" as opposed to "(racist/bigot) like blue_turnip". Because I'm not racist.

Its okay for me to be a bigot though, because I'm always right. its only bad when other people (WRONG people) are bigots

Do i ever get annoyed when people look at a pile of shit and go "that is soooo oliver!", or walk up to someone and go "stop acting like that you oliver". No, i don't, and thats why noone ever uses the word 'oliver' in a derogatory sense. Maybe if people grew some balls and stopped whining about using the word 'gay', or finding it offensive, I'd stop using it as well. The word would be useless without the sting.

I have 2 gay friends, and I use that word in a derogatory fashion all the time in front of them (and often to them). The only difference with them is that they have half a brain, and realise I have no beef with their orientation. Because of the above reason, I am starting to get bored of the word with them (and i know they're not pretending they don't care just to get me to stop).

Regardless, I have been thinking of creating a list of offensive words that people don't change my posts for. So feel free to contribute.

The point is that you're a pussy. You talk about liking to be aggressive and iconoclastic and using words with "sting" because they offend people. Why don't you take what Matt said as a challenge? hey sorry reile for saying "jew" or "hes jewish" around you. i guess it had more to do with the stereotype and being offended. from now on i plan on using jackass or fucker in place of racial/religious/sexual comments.
