Hi Everybody.
I am at the danish footbag championships right now and we have a problem.
In shred30 a person started a trick inside the time frame and dropped it outside of the 30 seconds.
If he had landed it should count, right? Should it also that if he drops?
We need this knowledge before we can determine who is third and who is second..
HELP NEEDED FAST!

Yeah if the bag leaves his foot before the time limit is up then the drop counts; but only if it's a genuine drop. If the judges deem that he dropped because of the time limit and not because of skill level (ie. he drops a hand catch or he sets but then the time finishes and he doesn't bother to finish the move), then it is fine to rule that the drop does not count. Really it's to the discretion of the judges. From what you write, I would guess that the drop should count. Ouch 
Not according to the official IFPA rules. There is no official rule about whether tricks count after the time limit or not (that started before the end).C-Fan wrote:The drop definitely counts.
If you wanted to score the event based on no tricks counting that finish outside of the time limit (or drops), that would be entirely within the IFPA rules. I'm not really sure how it can be said that it "definitely" counts.

The official Australian rules are slightly different than the IFPA rules, and state that any move that starts before the time limit counts, unless the judges deem that the player chose to end the performance. I would say that the Australian rules could still do with a great deal more clarity, but I they're also better than the IFPA rules, and Australia is the only country in the world to have officially approved sick 3 rules (because most of us can only hit three moves in a row anyway
).
