Cool, yeah, let's do that next time. And some MOTWs. I keep forgetting about that.
I went to the park and played footbag! I made another video in the videos forum. Yeah, that's all I have to say. I'd like to say the neat things I hit, but it's in the video, so I don't wanna bother. I wanna eat some food, drink some iced tea (maybe bubble tea???), read the pendragon books in the bath (maybe Becky Cloonan???), watch the new Office when it's downloaded, draw my heart out, stitch, and maybe write just for fun. STUFF!

Oh my best friend from high school is going to be in town tomorrow. I wonder how that will go.

These bottles are SO heavy!
So, super thanks to Eskimo Joe, who just GAVE me that whole 5 lbs of lead!!!! So much filler, it blots out all of Cyrodiil!!! (Though honestly, only up to Skingrad, Bravil, and the Imperial City......)

Dark facile on the top left, lights on the right, needles on right, and on the left the red notepad recording how many bags I've made (and on the back how much money my girlfriend owes me), and templates. Seedbead below. Then below that are discarded, unfinished bags, and panels, then floss, a little film canister for filling, some more steel shot, scale, some baggies, tape, golf ball, rasta Mr. Sandman that I gave Nelly before, and traded for my favourite Cuddle bag, at Hackrifice ('cause they're awesome). Lighter, which I don't use anymore, gather tool, and some pens. And scissors way in the back.

Bubble gum!

So much black... I'm bored of stitching those bags already, and I haven't started yet :p

Woo! Wait, where is it????

Becky's Minis at the top, then Nebuli, then 5, then a little flyer for a Ryan Kelly book that looks good, and very Cloonan-esque. Actually, I saw Ryan Kelly's stuff in the catalogue for Minneapolis College of Art and Design (was always my dream school), the same catalogue that, like, inspired me to start drawing, like, over 10 years ago, or whatever.

What do you use the pear preserves for when stitching?

I like the facile collection!

And I always mean to get Tom to teach me to stitch but it never seems to happen, usually being my fault. Maybe I can wait and you can show me some of what you do.

The pear preserves are actually from my parents' trip to Tennessee. I haven't tried them yet.

Umm, I finished #26. It's okay. I used a bit more seed bead, because #25 is wonderful, and perfect after about 4 sessions, but it's really thin (feels like amaretta), so I'm not sure if it's because the colours were thinner to start with, or because it is slowly wearing away. We'll see...
Byrin's bag popped a stitch, and that sucks, but I've changed some techniques since then, and they should never pop again (#25 hasn't, and it is righteous).

Shred session: 071006
We had our first indoor session today. It was kinda lame. Playing inside makes me feel like an animal in the zoo... There's no freedom, no fresh air or sunshine... It's kind of depressing and uninspiring. I played kinda crap, but I think it's 'cause I wasn't terribly inspired by the hardwood environment. Here's some stuff I did:
-alpine blurry rev whirl > rev whirlygig
-alpine blurry rev whirl BSOS (dropped on rev maelstrom or something)
-pixie ducking symp rev whirl > handcatch > other side
-spinning rev whirl > twirl [both sides] (almost BSOS)
-2-bag ducking clipper > handcatch > other sides
-2-bag stepping rev whirl > handcatch > other side
-2-bag juggling foot-change (second time, almost other side)
-9 2-bag juggling flip, 16-ish good side
-backside spikehammer first try

Yeah, some other stuff.
Manna was SUPER close to ripped warrior both sides.... Whaattt??? He had some longish runs with multiple bothsided 4 add tricks, like, dimwalk BSOSing, ripwalks, blurs... all over. Tyler Wright also came out, he used to play many years ago, like before Andrew started, and he's going to get Lavers (or maybe those G-Units that someone posted a sale for) and play more seriously. I tried to help him with his game, but he kind of didn't really listen, which was sucky...'cause he seems to be going down a path of one-sidedness with a focus on bigger combos, and not consistent/long runs.. Sad.

Andrew pulled his back real bad and stopped playing halfway through.
Not much else to say.

Anyway, I went for coffee with my friend. Turns out he just moved back into town from being in Vancouver and Whitehorse, so yay. It will be nice to have a good friend again. BFF! We were gonna see the Andy Warhol exhibition at the art gallery, but hacky... Oh, I met his girlfriend too, and she's super nice. We grooved, and we're gonna hang out more. Yay. Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow!!! Heck yeah! Oh yeah, Manna also hit sameside DLO. Close to stepping whirl too!! (He said he wanted to do stepping rev whirl, 'cause I always do

Hey buddy! Kick ass drawing. I like the looks of all the stitching supplies. You have yourself a healthy stockpile!

So I was walking around the lake last night like I always do, just reflecting on life and the future and whatnot and I saw probably three people running with Double Knee braces so I ended up thinking about you the entire walk haha. Mainly about the Reverse Whirl video with the kick ass music and of course the Rory Dawson video.

Haha. Anyways, just thought I'd drop by and share that. Hope all is well with you buddy. Oh, and I bought the new Epica album, Divine Conspiracy, and it's sick. Check it out man.

Alan: I listened to the new Epica album a bit, but I couldn't get into it... I don't think I like this one. I've been listening to the new Nightwish album on repeat though, and that's basically all that I listen to. I used a track in one of those videos that I posted a bit back.

So I had this bizarre dream about Jorden last night. Basically his parents turned into zombies (although maybe demons is more accurate?), and their house was like this huge mansion, and I guess it was Hell, because it was all evil and I was designated to carry a bunch of water (because on a previous attempt to get inside the mansion and slay his parents, we (I think it was, like, FAT, but I can't specifically remember anyone...except maybe Johnny... maybe John Bagi too (maybe it was our Worlds house?)) were beaten by dehydration.) So there were traps and fire and evil things and it was quite enthralling. I felt kind of like a monk from video games with healing powers. Then there were a lot of abstracts, like, suddenly my brother was in the mansion, in this big foyer/living room, and he was going to the bathroom on this big fancy chair that doubled as a toilet in the middle of the room (actually...like, maybe on a stair case?), and then some old family friends walked down the stairs and said hi and stuff (which is kind of weird, because I got a friend accept thing from one on Facebook when I woke up). Then there was also this part where I was in art school, but it was still all evil, and, ha, like, I was on a break, and then I was going to get on the elevator to go back down to class, but there was a pile of sheets in the elevator... and I guess they were from a previous part of the dream, and they were all evil, and so I was scared to get in alone, and then there were flashes of high school friends and Fred Penner's son whom I used to be best friends with. So yeah, it sounds a lot more exciting than when I'm awake.

I haven't played hack since last session, on Saturday. I'm not doing anything, and my shins hurt soooooo much

I'll probably just film tomorrow.
