ByrnsiE's going to college!!!!!!!!!!

Post by ByrnsiE »

Well where to begin.

My name is Josh Byrns most people call me Byrnsie account its basiclly my last name and there is a ood story behind it. So I might as well tell you about it. So one day I think it was my Freshman year in highschool (3 years ago) me and a few friends were in lunch gooffing off like usual. And there are a few vending machines, so one my friends went over and bought a Byrne Dair Chocolate Milk. And out of no where randomly my friend bursts out saying "josh i found your name on the label" and sure enough there was "byrnsie" written on there somewhere. And basically from there on most my friends, teachers and sometimes my parents call me Byrnsie.

Like that matters anyway. I first started playing hacky sack back in like 7th grade with bunch my old friends. Course 10 years of soccer I had a lot of foot skills. And basiclly since then I've been hackin on and off. Bought my first sack and some foreign store, and tried making one of my own... that didnt come out good at all. Ended up more like a square somehow then a sphere.

So towards ending of my junior year last year one my friends who I hacked with showed us some his sick footbag moves durring end of math. And wow I think I must of pissed my pants at that sight. Back then I thought that was the greatest moves I've ever seen. So I gooffed off with them not really taking footbag that serious, till the begining my senior year this year.

Now I got real into footbag cause one my friends Ben Rea told me to go search Jordan Moir on youtube. WOW... when I first watched one of his videos... I felt the urge to footbag. It was just amazing, pure greatness. So Ben gave me a footbag and a little sheet with some beginners tips and moves on it. That was about 2 to 3 weeks ago.

So basically since then I've been trying to get down all the basic stalls and kicks. Can easily do a toe stall, inside stall, outside stall and clipper stall... only if I bought the right shoes. Causee right now I'm just kickn it in some Converses and course they are leather so a lot of the time the footbag bounces off. Now all those moves are easy for me on my right foot, but man my left foot is just horrible. It's like it has a mind of it's own and just doesn't want to cooperate with me. Not to mention 10 years of soccer and bout 5 years of hackin I'm so used to kicking that I tend to doze off and just start kickn and not stalling.

Guess I'll tell you bout some my other hobbies. Well I'm a big time gamer. Mostly computer games but I do love my N64 for Zelda and Super Smash Bros. I play mostly Warcraft III The Frozen Throne, but I do enjoy a little FPS games here and there or some MMORPG's like World of Warcraft and Silkroad/Maplestory. I love playing football and basketball with my friends although I suck at basketball but football I'm pretty good at reciever and running back. Juggling is another huge hobby of mine. I'm no one fancy but I can do stuff like reverse cascade, mills mess, colunms, clawing and few others that dont member names to.

Sooooooooooooo.... thats basically my story.

Sweet blog i hope it sees a lot of improvement in the months to come.

kicking is the first step to being a great footbagger.

shoes should be your numero uno priority right now.

good luck on your adventure in footbag land.

I can't wait to see the improvement.

Finishlines or Famous Footwear in shoppingtown or the big C mall has them in leather. Leather lavers are just as good, in my opinion. I've been using them the past three pairs i've had. You just need to cut away EXOSKELETON of leather. And kick with them a while so the sticky crap gets off the "mesh" and then BAM! You've got yourself some lavers! Aric McIntosh used leathers all the time and he had some loopy theory that they were actually better than mesh.

buuut if you wanna support IFPA and wanna WAIT for shipping and that sort of thing. Yeah. Go ahead and order.

peace, man. Can't wait to shred with you when I get back to syracuse on breaks. We'll have an bonified shred circle if you, Ben, Josh Digges, and myself play! 8O

So I went to Shoppingtown Mall to basically every store that has shoes there and not one of them had Lavers. Had to go to atleast 10 stores and not one of them. Sucked so much cause I don't want to wait if I have to last resort and buy them online.
