Frankystyle Dancing Football

Post by Fkystyl »

Here is a video of my skills with a football (soccer)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVEga3hrEV4

Hope you will like it, I just try to dance with a football. Maybe some of you will ask me why I do this. And also if I still play footbag.
I still play footbag but like once a week in average. Too old to play as I used to...

And I came to what I call Dancing Football because What I am looking for is not just fat tricks but more some nice artistical body expression and at one point I considered that footbag was so cool but there were one main problem : it is too static (not sure about this word, I mean that we always play on the very same spot). I needed to move, walk and run while playing. Soccer ball gave me this possibility even though I don't move that much on this video, but the room was quite small and the camera not moving.

The other reason why I came to Dancing Football is the dimension of the pass. When we play footbag we usually go till it drops, well maybe not all of you, but in the circles where I played around the world it was most ofen the case. I missed the passes like when I used to play with my very close friend at the begining in 1997, kickin' in a circle, and feeling that the bag really physically links us. With the football we do something with my friends closer to Chinlone that most of you should know, and this is so cool and then the circle can be 3 metres wide or 30 metres, which can be so cool sometimes.

For me, footbag and football are different but both of them are so cool and really changed my life.

And now that I have one foot in the freestyle soccer community, I can tell you that when it comes to the atmosphere of the events gathering players, footbag ambiance is way cooler. But I think that it is normal since footbag comes from the people and the 60's - 70's with the important notion of RESPECT (you, me, your environement, anyone), while freestyle soccer mainly comes from marketing...

This video is quite old but very well edited.

I should do another video in the coming weeks.

I've been loving this one for a while!

Do you think you could hit Eclipse > Far Legover > Clipper > Swirl ? or Eclipse > Ducking Osis?

I would love to see these two..

Love your way to play freestyle soccer

I think your mix between soccer touch and footbag style (trix) is so cool...

Ducking Eclipse
Smear
It's hard trix to do with a ball and especially with Style
