Everyone should go on the Much Music website and call in to request this video, I've seen quite abit of Modest Mouse on there in the past.

Vasek's 282 point shred 30 was with a Jake Raye I use for all my competitions. He borrowed it off me for the preliminary shred 30.

It's the best ever.

Yesterday a friend of mine, who has never seen footbag, called me and was like, "Dude! On a Modest Mouse video there's a guy doing that thing you do!"

Yeah I had one of those Raye bags too, same pattern, colors, everything. It was my main bag for a while too, cool to see it make the vid.

I love:

What this does for the sport in terms of exposure

The image that it perpetuates: professional type being creative via footbag

That modest mouse could identify the theme of their song with a footbag mentality, or at least one that I identify with so closely

That every time I take off my entrenching corporate gear to shred or skool I will still feel like a superhero rock star but others might also make the connection.

Thank you Lon. And, thank you again.

Wow that's a great point. I didn't realize that. There really wasn't any hint of the lazy hacky sacker stereotype.

Aaron visit is still sort of up in the air, but he'll probably be staying here at the Shredquarters for at least a month or two, and he's looking to get an apartment here I believe too. We're looking forward to having him visit, as well as Sam and Lon... It's still just in the idea stage right now, but using all of the soon to be local talents combined, Freedom is planning to release a footbag commercial. :D

Peace.

Next time I'm at a music store, I'm actually going to buy a Modest Mouse album (which would be a first).

How did they think to get Lon?

fyi, modest mouse has put out some great albums as well as some horrendous albums. personally I think you should check out one of these three,

This is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About (the first)
Lonesome Crowded West (my favorite)
The Moon & Antarctica

i've been listening since grade school and these are their three stellar albums that still make me happy when i listen to them today. have fun.

One house played the Modest Mouse album inside Terra Verde(GreenLand).

It's called "We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank"

Great album with 2 Radio Hits so far. Ex=Track 2 Dashboard & 6 Missed the Boat

I got a call from my best friends neighbor and childhood friend Corey Creasy. A recent college graduate directing various films with his partner Ian. There business is called Terri Timely.

territimely.com

I drove 3 hours to San Fransisco and Filmed all day monday and tuesday in various locations with a camera and lighting crew of about 5-10 people. It was really interesting and fun watching how it all works.

Brand new shoes. I keep a new pair in my closet in case of something like this ever happenning. So I got to play in unused shoes which was hard. But they showed my best tricks and made me look skilled.

I'm very pleased with the video and the feedback.

Thanks for all you responses. I still haven' read all the funny comments on the My Space version of the video.

Work hard and save money. Thanks everyone Yeah!

Yeah in the beginning he made a good businessman because you could tell he was a super cool guy that didn't want to be trapped in his suit and in traffic!
