lavers arn't working
lavers arn't working
My lavers are giving me trouble. I like to do toe stalls in my socks, stalling where my toes bend. That feels comfortable. Unfortunately I have really long toes. So when I slip on my laver's, I can't toe stall where my toes bend because my toes bend too far back in the shoe. I've been wondering why I can't hit pixie consistently even though I school them often. Where do you guys to stall in your laver's relative to where you toes bend when your pointing your toes up in your shoe? After getting used to toe stalling where my toes bend, if feels unnatural to try to stall on top of my to toes. Help please. Is there a shoe that give more room for toe stalls lengthwise? Or do you guys stall on top of your toes?

maybe try lacing your lavers higher than your toe bend spot. of course, this is making a larger toe box, and larger walls... which might not help with pixies.
as far as finding a shoe that is different than lavers, climas are another option. or you could kick barefoot like that rad guy in texas. gunits are also different than lavers, but have larger walls, so that might not help.
hope this helped.
ps. climas are back in production, even though many people dont know this. brian and i saw some new colors that have recently been released at a local footlocker. these are higher end shoes, with higher end prices... so used is muuuuch cheaper.

You could try Tevas.

On my old lavers I just now cut out the first three eyelets. I was able to hit 15 pixie>opp toe. Also I laced my new laver's up on the third eyelet. Is seemed to help because I could hit 15 pixie>opp toe. I don't have a camera and my cell phone won't send a picture to my email. I'm going to my phone provider to see if there is a wire that I can attach my phone to my computer, but I've got and exam tomorrow and a paper due on Wednesday so I probably can't do that until Thursday. Also, my previous record was 8 pixie> opp toe instead of 15 pixie>opp toe. So the new lacing on my new lavers and modding on my old lavers seems to help. Thanks for the advice. Footbag palyers are awesome.
