Looking up at the sweat band, those massive farmer-tanned forearms, the shirt stretched out over my awesome ribcage, and the glasses at the end of my nose, it becomes clear to me exactly why I'm so irresistable to the ladies.

Although my facial expression is exactly what I pictured it to be. Hairlip Von Scowlyface.

So I took the WSS test just now. And I'm still MOSS certified! Haha... hrmmm. Scored a 676, needed 700 to pass. It was pretty brutal. Time to go play some horseshoes (or hand grenades, possibly). Oh, wait, this isn't a Sharepoint Consultant forum? Silly me...

Here's some shit from last night, then: solo session at IP, one hour, bad light & wind gusts & eventually got rained out. Still felt like I played pretty good despite these things beyond my control. Warmup & drills took exactly one hour. If I could have kicked for another hour I would have more highlights:

 longest string - 24 contacts
 DATW outwd> DATW inwd> Terrage (last thing I did before it started raining)

I tried what Reile had suggested with flip PLO (starting with flip side & focusing on doing the first dex uptime) & it worked. I think this will help a ton, maybe do 20 flip PLOs to start runs every session? One area to improve: floating my pixying foot when I should be planting it fast. If I could just get my stepping & flip pixie going, that'd be like 25-30 new tricks.

Also, I'm convinced that portabella mushrooms are the ultimate shred food. The last three times I've had portabella mushroom sandwiches for lunch, I've had really good sessions. In other news, I'm beginning to hate the taste of gatorade. Or maybe just the aftertaste.

Well, with the tests out of the way I should be able to have more of a social life. I want to kick about 12 - 15 days this month, if possible. Probably kick downtown solo when I can, unless anybody wants to join me...?

Ok, I've got to make this quick. Kicked three times since last post.

Thursday - solo at Millennium Park, just a little over 2 hours, had to double up on my double dexes since my previous session got rained out. Highlights:

 28 contacts (while working on 50 contact tiltless drill)
 flip Flapper (hit this before but had more to do with using a wet sandbag than my own skill)
 Whirls again (both sides)
 Barrage BSOS
 Pixie ss Pickup
 double Pickup (hit strong - only footed on flip)
 backside Smear

Barrage BSOS was pretty much the only thing I was happy with. I would say this session is about average for me, not that I'm complaining. I've been really close to a handful of new moves & would like to hit them before the end of the season, so not hitting any of them is a little disappointing.

Friday - solo at Millennium Park, about an hour & 45 minutes.

 butterfly> pdx mirage> repeat drill to 12 contacts (tying my record)
 24, 26, & 28 contact strings (50 drill)
 Whirl both sides again
 Magellan> Parkwalk
 Double Pickup (both sides - hit for the first time weak side)

Double Pickup is one of those handful of moves I've been close to, I attempted it about 75 times each session Thursday & Friday, and finally hit it to end the Friday session. And I was just like "whatever." Normally I would have been happy with hitting a new move. I have no insight into why this didn't satisfy me - maybe I thought I should have hit it a few times already?

Sunday - big jam at Welles Park - bunch of net players, Rav5, Mike Hansen, Meinard, and Josh & Jake Raye. Really fun session (except for the sweat fetishism, which was creepy). Guess I probably freestyled for around two hours, then I lost a couple games of squares.

 two 29 contact strings (50 drill)
 PLO> butterfly> pdx. mirage to 10 contacts (all one side)
 Whirl midstring (first time for that - played out of it, too)
 Whirls both sides
 Double Pickup (only strong side)
 Backside Smear
 Pixie Dada (sure this one was clean)

So there's no longer hope that my first three dex won't be Dada-related. I heard that Reile hit is 100th triple dex, too. Circle of life.

On the squares front, I had to remind myself a couple times to keep it simple. My plan is still to play like I'm starting over - just basic kicks, solid defense, and try to build an offense & work on shot placement eventually. I've identified these flaws in my game:

 kicking bag out of bounds with my awesome strength
 giving people really high, nice passes when I return their serve/pass
 spiking when I try to snake
 not going for the bag when the opponent is close to the line & they set the bag close to the line - mental block related to not wanting to kick them
 left outsides have been for shit
 predictable

Probably won't kick again until Wednesday at the earliest - lots of work in the next couple days, might be putting in 10+ hour days. I'm addicted to Workahol.

Dammit, I wrote a big post but got logged out before I hit Submit. Grrrr. Abridged version:

10/13 Solo session at IP - 1 & 1/2 hours.

 48 contacts tiltless (almost completing 50 contact tiltless drill)
 flip Double Pickup

Footed:

 Backside Pixie Same Mirage
 Assassin

Backside Assassin would be cool, mostly the name. Something to put on a business card.

Might kick tonight, I have my gear with me. I'm happy that it warmed up a bit compared to last week. Also, I'm thinking about getting a Y membership to kick over the winter but feeling conflicted. Will probably discuss more in a future blog post, I wrote a bunch about this in the unsaved post but can't spend the time re-writing it right now.

Got my first paycheck from my new employer. :D

Kicked again last night, solo for an hour & 50 minutes at Millennium Park, pretty good session. Got through warm ups & drills in 35 minutes (really good) and got through my usual stuff list in another 35 minutes, leaving me a lot of time to just screw around & try different things. Highlights:

 Couple tiltless strings in the mid 20 range
 Assassin (first time)
 Smear> Dimwalk> Pickup> Pixie> Ducking Mirage> Ducking Butterfly
 Backside Smear> tiltless run

I've hit all of these before, but its been a while:
 Terrage BSOS
 flip Symposium Pixie
 Smudge
 PS Mirage

And then I finished the session with this styley link -- wonder if anyone's hit it before?
 Vurp> kicked myself in the nuts (attempting Paradon)

So I took that last little combo as a sign that I should stop for the evening.

Also, flip DATW was a bitch. Hit strong double Pickup, couldn't hit it weakside again. Barrages took a while, too. An example of a session where my flip double dexes felt uncontrolled & unusual.

Other than that, good session, it was just what I needed. You see, all summer my long I've been kicking about 5 times a week, kicking after work a lot. And so I've gotten into this pattern of getting off work, kicking, grabbing a snack, soaking in the tub, and then going to bed (with coming home from work somewhere in there, too). So footbag has been really filling up my free time for about five months now.

I'm not that great at finding ways to entertain myself, so almost every day last week (without footbag) I just sat around my house, ate, and then went to bed early. Lame.

But now, with this new job and with the impending doom of winter, I don't think I'll be playing five times a week any more. Knowing myself I probably won't settle for just twice a week, either. The point is I wasn't sure if I'd be able to continue to make progress towards Guiltlessness & stay satisfied with my game if I couldn't play as often. But this session made me feel like I can play three times a week and still make progress.

Still thinking about getting a Y membership if a public indoor spot doesn't work out. My concern with that is I'd be kicking solo, probably continuing with my drill sessions, all winter long. Plus the occasional interruption by children who want to play. Those fuckers. So that doesn't sound like a lot of fun. But what am I gonna do with my time if I don't kick? And it would be good for my game, I'm sure... but it sounds soooo boring. Still going back & forth in my head about that issue.

I have been playing more and more in the winters in my basement. You're welcome to join. We used to kick in Kam's garage a bit too. And since last winter we started kicking at Navy Pier every Sunday.

It'd be great to find a spot to kick during the week. We did used to play way more often when the sun wasn't going down so early. At the same time though, I'm playing solo so much lately, thta having my basement and Sundays (or Saturdays) to kick with everyone doesn't seem much different than what we're doing now.

Thanks for the offer, I'll have to take you up on it. I thought you played well this weekend.

Saturday - Fred & Tom at IP for around 3 hours. My footfighter got a hole in it. Already. I was already displeased with that bag, it isn't even completely broken in. After like 25-30 sessions it still doesn't flatten out on delays very much, and its rollier than thou. Har har har. It plays great when it's a little wet, but not very well when it's dry. Anyway, Saturday was kind of a lazy session - I was more into soaking up the nice weather than shredding hard. My warmups felt really good, like my legovers were perfect, but then I just lost steam or something. Highlights:

 Butterfly> pdx. mirage to 15 contacts (new record)
 Ducking symp. mirage (first time in several months)
 Ripwalk (first time! - Tom gave it two stars out of five)

Tom, Fred & I all spent a big chunk of the session going for big single tricks. I was trying a lot of pixie set stuff, but my pixies just weren't great. Still haven't gotten any closer to Backside Pixie same Mirage. But symp. mirages feel really easy right now.

Oh, I also thought I had hit toe drifter, but when Fred showed up he pointed out that its actually Dada curve. Godfuckingdammit. I do not understand the geometry of drifter yet. I know I've said the same thing with Whirls & Illusions, and eventually they came to me, but right now it feels like I'm never going to understand drifter.

It was nice to hit Ripwalk, or anything from Stepping set, really. Still working on Blur. Really want to school stepping & flip pixie sets and hit all my downtime components out of them.

I've been mentally listing the downtime components I feel like I have a mastery of v. the downtime components I'd like to master or feel like I should master. I've got mirage, legover, pickup, clipper, and butterfly, all pretty good op or same side. I want symposium mirage, illusion, osis, whirl, swirl, drifter... maybe even some double dexes completely downtime but that's off in the distant future.

Sunday - Zeke, Jake, Josh, Tom, Ronnie, & a new guy named Andre, Welles Park. We were there for about four hours but I'm not sure how long I kicked. Maybe two hours freestyle & an hour of squares? Freestyle was pretty average. I tilted during a string. I hate myself for it. Highlights:

 Butterfly> pdx. mirage to 15 contacts again
 flip Double Pickup (3rd time)
 DATW bsos
 won 2 games of squares

Squares were definitely the highlight of my day. Felt about halfway back to where I used to be when I thought I was good. I think everyone was having an off day, while I was having a rare on day. Got to game point in the second game I played, but couldn't put it away after like five game points against Zeke, and he came back to win. Got to 12 points right away in the third game, but Ronnie came back to win that one. I was kind of frustrated after that game, and took a break.

Ronnie, Zeke & I played a game of three square after a little bit. I dominated. 8) Then Tom & Andre got back from the store & we had a foursquare game, I got to game point again and had a few more duels with Zeke, and came up short. Some random dude came in and thought we were just hacking, and he kind of killed the game. Zeke sat out the rest of the game, and Tom seemed off his game, so Ronnie was the real threat - damn you Ronnie! I got to king square, served to somebody, got the bag back, and self screened from deep in my square into the random dude's square ftw. That's right motherfucker, it's like that.

I'm surprised how good Ronnie got this summer. It's hard for me to accept it when he kills me, because I remember owning him like every point at the beginning of the year. I guess he's been playing squares like every session while I've been freestyling, so it makes sense that he'd be way better. I'm trying to be more gracious when he kills me.

Well, I know I'm not kicking tonight, but maybe tomorrow. I want to take advantage of the weather while its still nice.

He definitely put some secret sauce on it. And then his follow through on that shot is kind of like a pitcher - the body leans far forward & his kicking leg continues up, off the ground, before coming forward. So right when it comes off his foot it looks like 1. he's off balance and 2. it's a bad shot, making it hard to read.

He may want to clean that shot up a little before NYJ (if he's planning on entering the 4square tournament). It can look spikey, and people are definitely gonna call that.

Maybe I should retire from 4square and be the coach.

Wish I had some highlights to post or something... oh well, I have to call Microsoft now. :? EDIT: It was not a pleasant call. But at least some shit got accomplished because of it. I think my Microsoft Stockholm Syndrome is wearing off...

Kicked yesterday & chillaxed. 5 hour session at Welles w/Zeke, Ronnie, Tom, Twitch, Reile, & Andre. Mostly played squares, little tiny bit of freestyle before & afterwards - didn't drill or do my usual stuff. Highlights:

 far legover ending on heel
 roughly 30 contacts tiltless

I tried to keep my strings more spontaneous than I have been, and I also drilled links in a string I want to hit: smear> dimwalk> barrage> ducking mirage> ducking butterfly. Then eventually I'd like to end it with pdx. mirage (or double pickup to make it genuine) & then repeat weakside.

Squares highlights:

 4/10 in 2 square
 2/5 in 4 square

Once again, I played like shit. Zeke beat me 4 games in a row in 2 square, at least one game was competitive but other than that I had nothing. Probably not a good idea to play Zeke in 2 square when you're trying to rebuild your confidence.

Kicks on my left felt shitty all day and I had a hard time placing the bag anywhere that would make it difficult for my opponent, especially against Zeke. I also got spun around & moved out of good square positioning quite a few times.

Ronnie & I played five games of 2 square. I won games one, four, and five. I found a shot that worked against him in game four & he couldn't make the adjustments he needed to return the shot. It was pretty late in the day so maybe he would've had adjusted if it were earlier & his legs were fresh. That might be the one bright spot on the day. I played (and won) one game against Twitch and he actually had me worried for a bit. I think if he had won I would have cried and cried.

One of the games of four square was like a case study in shitty play. Hapless play. I didn't successfully kick the bag a single time. Zero points, zero returns, just shit upon shit. I don't know what is going on with my game. Maybe god hates me? Just a theory.

Happy halloween, pagans!

Image

Kicked yesterday. Just a hair over an hour, solo, Millennium Park. I was still sore from the five hour session + 10 miles on my bike on Sunday - I didn't stretch out or soak or anything after that, because I got home late and just crashed out. It also got kinda cold, which made it really difficult to get loose & warmed up - probably took about 40 minutes.

So naturally it wasn't a very good session. As that 40 minutes wore on, I got more and more negative. Most of that time was drilling butterfly>pdx. mirage> rpt & not doing well. I decided to start counting the number of drops rather than the number of times I completed the drill - and then suddenly I started playing better. Something like that Aesop Rock lyric - peddling pairs of negatives.

I had a couple boring high-20s contact tiltless strings, don't think I broke 30 but approached it at least once. Was just finishing up my drills when a hacker named Anthony joined me for about ten minutes. He was aware of 'Pro Footbaggers' and also aware that what I was doing (vaguely) resembled what they were doing & could distinguish some of the components of the tricks I was doing. He could do the basic stalls in his Etnies. I told him about NYJ & CIC. So if he was motivated enough to become aware of Pro Footbaggers, maybe he'll find his way to NYJ or some other jam sometime.

Then one of us (I forget who) kicked the bag over the rail of the Washington Stair, and it took about five minutes to find it in the dark. After that, my legs were cold & stiff & I decided I should stop for the evening. It was about 7pm.

Image

For the last two sessions I haven't worked on my 'usual stuff' list - but that's alright with me. I'm planning on taking the next two or three weeks off from freestyle, so whether I had done all my DATWs these last two sessions or not isn't really gonna matter.

Even though it wasn't a good session, it still felt good to get some exercise & get outdoors. On the way home, I started thinking about my shred plan, and then when I got home I wrote out a pretty detailed idea of what & how I'm going to drill in the future. I'm going to stop doing all my current drills except butterfly> pdx. mirage> rpt. I'm going to start drilling PLO> symp. mirage> rpt.

I'm also changing my approach to drilling. Rather than working on a drill for several weeks or a couple months, I'm going to work on each drill for like 10-12 sessions & then replace it with some other drill. The old approach was OK for tiltless just to get those basic components down - but with some of them I maxed out how much I gained from the drill a couple weeks before I stopped doing the drill. With 3-adds there's just so many tricks to work on & spending six weeks to two months on each one is not efficient.

Of course I can always give special attention to different tricks/ concepts/ components when I need to. I should make flip pixie & osis a priority. Also, I want to drill a good mix of toe to toe, toe to clipper to toe to clipper, and clipper to clipper. I wrote out a list of all the 3-add tricks (plus some difficult 2-adds like fairy) that I can hit both sides & organized them into those categories, to help me think up new drills. I was surprised the list was around 15 tricks long - not the most exciting or challenging tricks but still could be a good foundation for guiltlessness.

And now the Halloween Skanks.

I know its kind of Hallmark-cardy to say so, but it really is important to gather with your loved ones and reflect on all the things you're skankful for.

Still on freestyle sabbatical. I've been sugarcoating where I'm at healthwise, so let me be totally honest: my knees are deteriorating and went from no regular knee pain to a regularly noticeable amount of pain/discomfort in about two weeks, when I started doing whirls & double pickups, and I'm still experiencing some even though I haven't been freestyling much. For instance I wake up in pain, but it goes away after I start moving around.

I do a lot of continuous double dexes, probably too many or with wrong form, and I need to cut back on that. Barrage, Terrage, & DATW feel fine, while my attempts at pixie set barrage & dimmiest usually don't feel good, I'm just whipping my legs around like an idiot. I think it makes sense that all of these would contribute to the problem. Biking might also be contributing to the knee problems.

My right ankle has been feeling weird at times throughout the season. Sometimes I tweak it & I wouldn't even describe it as discomfort, but like a slight but noticeable aggravation of an old injury. My hip problems from 2006 have largely gone away although there are some moves that aggravate it - DOD, whirl sometimes, and sometimes 4square does too if I over use a particular shot.

I didn't really notice the accumulation of all of this until I went to a concert a few weeks ago, and after just standing around (granted I was standing for several hours) I felt like every joint from the waist down was fucked.

So that all sucks. But it'll be ok. I hope I haven't done anything too serious or permanent to my body yet. I need to be more careful & not do as many moves that I think are aggravating my knees. I'm taking a break from freestyle, I want to start kicking indoors before NYJ so I won't be frustrated by playing like shit, and after NYJ I want to kick indoors and work towards guiltlessness. But I don't want to destroy my body. My beautiful, beautiful body.

Squares session yesterday at Welles - Tom Zeke & Ronnie, probably less than two hours. I only played a very small amount of freestyle - an impromptu 10+ tiltless run in the squares while waiting for somebody & also some attempts at PLO> symp mirage> rpt at the end of the session. This drill will be tough at first, gonna take it slow. EDIT: Also hit some refractions from clipper for the first time. Was visualizing a far legover but ending on osis, with a very distinct & clean dex, but it always came out refraction. Its a cool move, though.

Squares went pretty well, I'm not complaining or beating myself up but I did find some room for improvement over yesterday. I gave up the final point on at least two of the games, possibly three. And I really whiffed on at least one of those, which is always lame. "Zeeeke."

But then again I helped hold some people at game point for a while, so that was good. My defense was solid enough, and I mixed up my offense a little bit and saw some good results. I think the biggest reason I did well is because Ronnie was not playing well, and I managed to get the bag into Ronnie's square a lot. Zeke and Tom totally outclass me both offensively and defensively.

Then we chillaxed at Potbelly's for a couple hours and played an epic game of 'Would You Rather..." I think if we wanted to make a comic book based on some of these scenarios it would be a huge hit. Several dozen people would read it. Maybe if it were free online. Well, I'd read it anyway. I was happy that everybody hung out for so long, because otherwise I would have just been sitting at a Starbucks for a couple hours before seeing a movie. I would have thought Lincoln Square would have a more interesting coffee shop.

Then I went to see The Darjeeling Limited. It was good, like most Wes Anderson movies it was very stylish. Also pretentious. I picked up on a kind of colonialist undercurrent in some of the scenes. I don't know if it was supposed to be a critique of postcolonial intentions/attitudes towards developing countries, if it was then the critique was incoherent. Maybe its my poli-sci background inserting itself into something that wasn't supposed to be political. Good weekend.

A sabbatical will be good for rest as well as motivation. A scheduled return is good, and knowing you'll have to play some days time to ward off soreness and suckiness and tiredness, but then you'll be back in the driver's seat, with a hoe at your side.

Thanks guys.

There will be no hoes. Only rakes. Groan...

Kicked yesterday at Navy Pier. Hadn't freestyled in three weeks, so there were some difficulties with flip Barrage, legover (at first especially), & flip pdx. mirage. My hip got sore by the end of the session, my ankle feels kind of rubbery today, but my knees felt fine throughout. I'm an old crippled man.

I'd like to kick a couple more times before going down to Kansas, but I don't have the time. Skanksgiving is coming up so fast.

Anyway, back to the session: I won two games of foursquare :). Gloat gloat gloat. I hope to go into NYJ's 4square tournament with fresh legs & maybe that will help me to play as good as I did yesterday. If I do, I should make finals. That's my 4square goal.

Then the ride back to La Raza & chillaxation was pretty terrific. I was trying not to laugh on the train ride to work this morning, thinking of some of the shit from yesterday. Pooton. Watched WTS, and Where the Ripwalk Ends. Inspiring and shaming at the same time... I am so far from good at footbag.

Kansas has been fun.* The scenery is really nice - the part of Kansas I had spent time in before is all prairie, so finding all these hills and trees and shit was a pleasant surprise. This is my first business travel and I'm really grateful that I could travel somewhere with footbaggers in the area, otherwise I would have just been sitting in my hotel, watching cable, and thinking about titties. Which actually is a lot like my life in Chicago, except with cable.

It was cool to meet Zac & Cody. Looking forward to being back in Kansas & kicking with them next month, and then NYJ too. I'm buying a bag from Cody.

Its such beautiful country out in Olathe. I'd love to ride my bike down those hills, and then put the bike in a car and drive to the top of the next one.

Kicked Tuesday (over 2 & 1/2 hours with Zac & Cody) and Wednesday (1 hour 15 minutes with Zac). I had some rust to shake off at the start of Tuesday's session but ended up satisfied with how I played. Wednesday my legs were made of pain but I was still happy with the session. It sucks that Zac & Cody don't have any footage to show for it - not because I won't be on their Christmas Calendar entry (you aren't missing anything, trust me), but because now they'll probably have to scramble to get footage together.

Anyway, I mostly stayed away from my usual habits of drilling and long tiltless strings, and that was fun and challenging. I hit some new stuff & then some tricks or links that I haven't hit recently or very often - here the highlights is is:

New
 Flip Dimwalk (1st time)
 Dimwalk> Whirl
 not good Torque - like quasi stepping far osis/far refraction or something
 Parkwalk> Osis
 PLO> symp. mirage> repeat (not sure which move I started on)
 PLO> PLO> butterfly> pdx. mirage> same butterfly> drop on osis

Old
 Terrage BSOS/ Terrage b2b
 Ducking symp. mirage
 Backside Smear
 Double Pickup (strong)
 Barrage BSOS
 Flip Osis midstring (sad that this is a highlight, isn't it?)
 DOD
 Terrage midstring
 ducking heel
 heel stepover
 30 contacts tiltless

I almost hit same butterfly swirl a couple times - overdexed it once. That would have been a new trick. Really happy about flip Dimwalk (flip pixie is getting there - should work on flip Smear) & hitting DOD again.

So considering I was expecting to totally suck, the sessions weren't bad at all. And anyway it felt good to get kicking again. Now I need to get that Y membership & keep shitting on it through the winter.

*EDIT: Ok, I just ate lunch on the last day of training, and they didn't even try to get vegetarian options - just side salads. I'm not going to throw a fit to the trainers or anything, but this is unacceptable. Salad is not enough, and I hate it when people act like "oh, we've got salad" and just don't fucking think enough to understand that a pile of iceberg lettuce does not constitute a proper meal. I mean, a salad once in a while is fine if I can't avoid it, but this is the fourth damn day in a row. I have no time or interest in educating them about what I eat or like to eat. I'll just go buy my own lunch next time I'm here. Hopefully I'll have more luck with that, although I'm not too optimistic. It will be good to be back in Chicago.

EDIT #2: Christ, somebody just tried to start the "why are you a vegetarian, all your reasons will be disregarded and I will conclude that you should eat meat" conversation. Do people have no idea how tedious that is? Word to the wise - if you know a vegetarian, they might not give a fuck about explaining it to you.

Hey playboy,
I'm in a room with 5 cute girls right now, and will be for the whole week.

When you wrote about torque up there and you said quasi, I thought for a moment you meant the set and not the word. (quasi = pdx stepping)

I feel you about vegetarian conversation. I have a story like that kinda, but opposite. I asked a question to several people once about whether they could kill their own food if they had to. The one veg girl starting saying that she's not a vegetarian because she loves animals and got a bit defensive, and I was all like, "oh that's not why I was asking." Then I wrote PWN3T on her forehead.

Glad you saw hills! I wish you to see the hills of titties and the valley of snatchdom in your travels.

Thanks yo, you got famed for that in case you haven't seen it yet. I had misunderstood Quasi - I thought it meant any typically uptime component that's executed midtime.

Kicked yesterday at the Pier w/Tom & Zeke - longish circle kick session, freestyle, then some squares. Whole session was about two hours but I don't know how long I freestyled. Once again I was staying away from drilling and purely tiltless runs & trying to do something that's difficult for me in almost every run. This is so much more fun. But drills do have value & I will get back to them eventually. Highlights:

 Stepping Legover (first time, both sides, bsos)
 flip Smear (first time)
 Dimwalk bsos
 Butterfly> Whirl (both sides)
 flip Pixie Pickup (been a while)
 Smudge
 Plo> symp. mirage> repeat
 Ripwalk again
 another flip Osis midstring
 won 2 games of 2square

Stepping legover - I hit it flipside first, then the first time I hit it strongside I went ahead and BSOSed it. That has never happened before. My flip pixie sets are coming along, too, although I don't know why I didn't think to try flip pixie clipper or flip pixie muted clipper.

I went 1-1 against Zeke & 1-1 against Tom in the squares of destiny. I'd never beat Tom at 2square before, and very rarely beat Zeke. But they both dismantled me in the second games.

Next post is a new page.
