couldn't think of any appropriate titles that started with an R this time.. it's a lame gimmick anyway :( :P

Just filmed a bit of a session today. Regular style checks, don't you know. Just making sure that things are staying tight, I guess. I think I need to change how I do Osis...

anyway, figured I'd share. All comments are definately welcome. Tell me what you think!

thank you

Song: French Accordian Classics (...? that's the only title I've got for it)

enjoy!

Hey Ben, like I said at worlds, you got a decent style.

I really liked that big shuffle run.

The rest is good, but I felt like you could always push your game more. It's really fluid and smooth tough, good job.

For whatever reason my computer decided to play your video really choppy, but your style is so smooth it looked like any regular shredder 8)

I definetly liked the video, it is awesome to see Canadian shred!

We have to play again sometime before Christmas,

Sweet style :) nice and easy.

Loved the shuffle run, your string lenght, the ducking butteflys without plants.

The handstand at the end was really cool to see, i like acrobatic stuff.

Props Ben!

How long are you in the game?

thanks for comments, guys

I've been playing for about two and a half years.
push your game more
thanks, Mat! Will do :)

I think I should have put more spinning stuff in this vid. I changed my spinning style since Worlds (which was garbage), and now it's alot more consistent and easy to use, but I still haven't watched myself use it, so I want to make sure it's not froggy or anything...

anyway, comments rock, guys! Thanks

Hey Ben, good to see some more footage. You are definitely getting a lot better, no longer intermediate

You will get endless praise, so i'll leave that out.

You already mentioned this, but you can definitely improve your osis. I think the amazingly forgiving clima inside has allowed you to use poor form. You are turning much to early, and should almost watch the bag get to your clipper. Remember, wait, watch it almost make contact with your foot, and then turn.

Also, you are catching your butterflies very close to your support leg. If you attack the dex on the butterfly a little more, and catch the bag with your foot a little farther away from your support leg, it will improve your ability to play out of it.

PS: work on cleaner ducks too!

But overall, impressive shred, try to slowly weed out the BOPs, and you'll be genuine soon.

Thanks for the video. As Henry said, you'll get lots of praise, but constructive critiques will help you more in the long run.

Compliment sandwich:

1. Your style is very smooth and you have a good foundation. You will end up being a very good player.

2. Henry's comment about butterflies (accentuate the dex) is the thing you should work on the most.

3. You could step up the difficulty. That one run with all the shuffle shows that you can play harder. Push your game. I'd like to see less BOP in general, and more linking of your non-BOP tricks. So instead of BOP-blur-BOP or BOP-pdx whirl-BOP, more non-BOP tricks strung together.

4. I like the no-plant ducking tricks, it's good flair.

5. Good bothsidedness.

I hope you continue to put out videos. It will be cool for everybody (and yourself in the future) to see your development, because I know you are going to become even better. Good stuff Ben.

Thanks alot for the adivce guys. Really changed the way I played during my session today.

I think my osis is getting better :)
along with other stuff too. This whole "attack your tricks" thing is wicked. I worked up a much more intense sweat than usual, and i hit a bunch of new things for the first time. All to be included in my next vid

Cool video Ben.

Your styles awesome. I know you mentioned changing you clipper play at Wakahakee as well but I don't it's really necessary. Tweaks here and there maybe, but everything looks so smooth the way you do it!

Keep it up! Hopefully we'll get the chance to play again sometime!
