hey all.. updates anyone?

-20 ss clippers
-mirage/illusion
-six touch tiltless combo (pickup->clipper->paradox pickup->legover->illusion->butterfly)
-datw hit 6 more times
-whirl getting stronger, working flipside
-flip clippers getting good and reliable, 10 ss so far
-paradox legover (im proud of this one)
-very close to drifter (gonna learn it to flip clipper for variety)

well thats whats been happening here. i love my new leather lavers. asfter i modded them, they are just as light a the mesh ones, and the allwhite leather/dirty canvas look is sweet....sorta like grey/white quantums reversed. they are breaking in very nicely, as is my josh raye 32. woohoo!

haha its been awhile..... well, lots has happened. my pixies on my strong side are getting gnarly, and im drilling fairies with my flip since thats what i use to do the illusion dex. ive hit smear many times cleanly, paste is getting consistent... basically, two-dex moves are no longer a problem for me. whirl is getting strong, drilling paradox whirl. clippers are locked on both side, so happy. butterflys are locked on strong and being drilled on flip. double atw is happening every now and then. hit dimwalk pretty strongly. reverse swirl happened for me after 20 minutes straight of attempting it. both my lavers are perfectly worn in, and i have some nice short shorts. i might be heading to eugene soon for some sick shred.... thats all for now. my goal for coming sessions

-flip fairy into..... anything haha
-revere swirl again
-paradox whirl
-atomic legover (trick name? its a two dex. ill try notation: R>L out-in>Rout-in>R del )
-consistent dimwalks, maybe a sidewalk or two
-anything else i think of.

Dude you hit double Legover? Thats intense, wow. You're progressing pretty quickly. You know whats funny, Daiple can almost hit double Legover from a kick set. You guys own me at some respects of the game, and congrats on that 6 touch tilt combo. I really really want to go to Eugene with you. It would be sweet to see those shredders again, if it was at all possible. Keep working those tricks man, see ya on Sunday.

alright, so i want to give you guys a COMPLETE idea of what i am capable of right now, as well as my equipment, instead of just what ive hit in each session. here goes:

strongside and flipside:

toe delay
outside delay
inside delay
clipper
atw
mirage (flip is weak)
illusion (flip is weak)
legover
pickup
osis (strong is weak)
ss pickup
ss legover
ss mirage
pixie
far legover
far pickup
pixie> clipper (name?)
butterfly
stepping (flip is weak)
pixie legover
paradox mirage
paradox illusion

strong side only:

whirl (flip dex is clean, but no success yet)
paste
smear
ducking clippers (set from strongside)
dimwalk
datw
reverse swirl

flipside only:

hopover
ss illusion
thats it haha

i am vigorously drilling all the above, but here arer the tricks i ma clos e too or would like to hit soon:

all my weak flipside moves (or moves i cant do flip)
barfly
paradox whirl
drifter
paradox drifter
swirl
legbeater
ducking butterfly (both sides)

so thats my progress so far. i hit fairly long tiltess combos often, and thorw in 3 adds alot as well. i currently own a pair of green mesh lavers (heavily modded and broken in) and blue leather lavers that are slightly newer (still heavily modded). my favorite bag to shred with is my gold and navy facile josh raye i got at worlds, its a sick bag. im ordering a amaretta one soon.now you have total knowledge of my skill level. leave any comments you might have, thanks!

Hey man, you're really good! Don't forget about your flip (like, write flip on everything you own)!

How long have you been playing again?

That Guiltless combo you listed is correct. Except it's all mixed up. It's actually Dimwalk>Clip DLO>Butterfly>Whirl. All in all thats an awesome combo. I hope to hit some new guiltless soon. Maybe a unique combo to. We need to shred again soon Cale. You have a car right? Why don't you come out for some shred sessions during the week or something? I haven't heard from the other footbager, his name is Chris May. I'm waiting for his email response. Until next time shred on brother.

Dude thats awesome that your bags are getting awesome. Can't wait to see it. I still got the fabric we bought in Eugene, untouched. I don't have any sewing equipment whatsoever at my house, so i can only make my first bag at your house, maybe I'll do it on Friday, cause i think I'll be up there early for the Halo night. Hey i gotta ask you, what was your favorite trick in that video i posted. I also want to know what you think of that ripwalk at the end. I don't think it's an actual blurry butterfly, cause i don't think i do the butterfly dex, but who knows. Can't wait to see you school that flipside, i need to do that to, for tricks like drifter, and torque, and whirl and stuff. But all my tiltless i got both sides pretty good, except illusion. I HATE ILLUSION!

yeah, im using the material we got in eugene. it looks cool. so, im at my dads this weekend... but becasue of xbox night, i wasnt gonna go to his place till saturday afternoon, so if you could get to my moms house right after school, we could chill there until we go to el dub.

anyways, back to footbag =)

im a little more than half done with this bag. just one stitch error, but totally unnoticeable. i love looking at my first bag in comparison to the one of stitching now.... it is looking way good. ill definitely post pictures when i finish.

the aforementioned bag was completed a few days ago. its actually the best bag ive made yet, and hasnt fallen apart yet =) its cotton though, so already showing signs of wear. but thats alright. im planning on ordering some facile through feilds. any suggestions for colors to start with would be appreciated! i got a new pair of shred shoes that i had to be very creative with, but they are actually awesome for footbag believe it or not. you can check out a slideshow of them HERE. i had a sweet shred session the opther night at my churches allnight event with eoghan, and we came up with a gnarly tiltless drill called "nocturnal". it is as follows:

clipper>oppclipper>clipper>pickup>opp clipper>pickup>clipper>pickup>ss legover>opp clipper>pickup>ss legover>repeat

it is basically adding a tiltless each level between clippers. past that you can pull ss pickup after th ss legovers, then mirages if you hit 5th level, and so on. me and yogan both got through the shown drill, and yogan was 2 short of going through consecutively. from a progress standpoint, i am becoming VERY both sided, which im very excited about. i love the fact that my flip clipper is reliable, and all my tiltless moves are as well. also, ive hit flip PLO consistently. that is very cool to me, my first flipset two dex move. i should have some sweet sessions this week to break in my new kicks. also, getting preparations straight for SJFF i hope i can go. catch you all later, thanks if you read this.... its usually just me and yogan posting here. peace[/url]

You and me both dude. I hope i can get some money raised for the trip, that might be another incentive to go. But anyways, can't wait to see you shred in those new kicks of yours. They look sweet in those pics. I had a session today where i tried to make it through two repetitions of the Nocturnal drill, and i dropped on the last legover on the second rpt. It made me so angry, but my clippers were on fire today. I couldn't believe how reliable my flipside was. But anyway, sorry i didn't make it to youth, and sorry about not answering the phone, i was out shredding at my favorite spot. But yeah, has your dad said anything about SJFF? If i brought my share of money would i be allowed to come? Everything I've heard about that event is super positive. It sounds like something that can't be missed. I really really hope it works out. Props on the flipside PLO. I remember you hitting that BSOS, it was amazing. Have you worked on nocturnal at all? You should work on getting to lvl 2 in that drill, with the ss pickups at the end. If you get that, I'll give you a thousand hugs. Until we meet again, shred on.

i went to the gym today and had a hardcore drilling session... i set up a routine card for drilling at least once a week..... it is as follows:

100 side to side toe delays
40 legovers bs
40 pickups bs
40 inside delays bs
40 clippers bs
20 clippers>pickups bs
20 butterflys bs
20 pixie sets bs
20 mirages bs
20 ss mirages bs
20 osis bs
10 plo bs
10 smear bs
10 ducking clippers bs
15 whirls bs

the last 3 are mostly attempts flipside, but i try to hit them a few times. i think hammering the basics into my brain will be very good for me. thanks alot to the dude that challenged me! once i get alittle stronger flipside, ill try and post a video of those moves. also, my josh raye bag is so choice right now.... perfectly broken in and supple, i cant stop handling it!!! it was low on filler, but i refilled it with copper bbs and it is now perfect!!!! also, at the top of this page i was stoked for hitting a 6 touch tiltless haha. that was awhile ago. im up to around 20 now when im in the zone, and will work my "nocturnal drill" for more.

and....... homecoming date !!! yaay!

hey everybody! so today is a defining day in my footbag career... my amaretta fearless 55's came in the mail today. ive been so stoked since seeing james' bag in eugene, and these are just as sweet! im gonna break them in right, so they will be amazing. i sat there, thinking "this is one of the best possible bags to get in the world" and just drooling. (not on it... what a shame that would be!) my right groin muscle is very sore form homecoming (that sounds awkward) so no shred today until i recooperate... but the other day i just randomly hit first try, SO clean diving ss clipper. so sooth and awesome. i like diving better than ducking. i will try to hit it flipside next session, but i have to drill my opp clipper sets first, they arentquite as springy as my strongside set yet. also, ducking mirage feels very possible to me after almost hiting it after 4 tries on sunday. (i had to stop, church was starting up) so thats pretty cool. my flip is catching up to my strong at a startling speed, so thats great. im still trying to figure out plans for SJFF, but hopefully ill know for sure soon. well, i hope to actually get some posts from other people... it seems like no one cares about my progress but eoghan. =( haha shred on guys, shred on.

wow!!!! so i went to the gym for my first session with my 55.... even though my leg has been sore for a few days. and oh my gosh, the bag is amazing! i am NOT EXAGGERATING. my dexes are really tight now, and i can move quicker around it. my sets are straight as an arrow from the weight of the bag, and stalls are a dream. i hit bsos plo three times, and i am very close to getting flip smear; i got smear>plo>footed opp plo, that was cool. paradox mirages bsos. flip butterfly is way more consistent, and ive footed my flip whirl three times today, the dex is very clean. i hit diving clipper another two times mega clean, some neckrolling ones. my flip pixies are getting as insane as my strong side. basically, my flipside is getting waywayway better. oh and one more little itsy bitsy thing...

...i ducked my pixie. to clipper. SQUEAKY CLEAN. in shoes. just one dex from a phoenix!!!

i could not believe it. i am so stoked right now, and can totally see my progress taking off. also, ive noticed my legs getting mas muscular, thats good. i cant wait to show off my new moves to yogan.... watch out man. peace everybody, leave your two cents.

I see now why you wanted me to read your blog. Dude thats amazing, I'm so proud. Can't wait to play with ya. You going to the harvest festival thing tomorrow? I think i am, but Dallas might go to a concert instead. We'll see. Dude i got in contact with Chris May today. Gave him a ring and we talked a little about a possible session. We might do something tomorrow, but I'm not entirely sure. Maybe we could all shred, wouldn't that be sweet. I guess I'll see you later Cale. One more thing, SJFF is a definite possibility.

What? Chris May still shreds??? Tell him whats up! I haven't talked with him forever, I thought he dropped off the map. Maybe you can get him to finally come up to Eugene, I've never kicked with him before but was trying forever to get him to come up.
