McDonalds Commercial

Has anyone else seen this yet? I've only seen it once. it has more kicking than anything else in it, but there are definitely a few stalls and there was also neck stall>pop up>neck stall toward the end. there was also a man made of money that does a stall or two.

Anyone know who these footbaggers are? how has no one else mentioned this yet? Not that I like McDonalds but the commercial was tastefully done and it's excellent exposure.

I had a chance to do somthing for mcdonalds back in the day but recieve a lot of negitivity from some peeps. You all laghed at me... who is laughing now?

I think hes saying he did the commercial being talked about, he mentioned it and got dissed. Now that its out hes rubbing it in that it really is good exposure. I think anyone who makes efforts to promote deserves props, our sport is too small to ignore big money like mcdonalds0 imagine a decent sandbag in every happymeal

Yeah I saw it a couple weeks ago. The guy looks like a decent circle kicker. He does some kicks and a leg over. Then he stalls it on his neck throws it up and catches it 3 times. Then he passes it to this computer graphic that does a few moves like butterfly I think. It was actually pretty well done and it is great exposure. But I couldn't find any video of it online.

I think as long as it's not some guy kicking it 2wice with one leg then dropping it and smoking pot and wearing tie dye it's good exposure. Because that's exactly what the world thinks of us right now (or at least America, for all I know)

I saw this commercial recently, and at first i thought "Oh noooooo" But then after watching it, and thinking about it, it's actually not all that bad. I mean the kid in the commercial does a Legover, a known freestyle move. The computer graphic wasn't that bad either, though it made it look goofy, but it did like a clipper>spinning>Toe stall i think. All in all it was good exposure. Though i think people will stop seeing us as slackers, and pot heads, and go to calling us fat. "Hey look at that guy" Points to a freestyle shredder rippin it up, and then looks at friend. Friend looks away with a shrug "Oh those guys don't do anything but eat Mcdonalds all day" They walk away. Just a possible scenario.

Me and my girlfriend Just saw it, in prime time! That was real good exposure. I thought it was good basic footbag stuff that kids could do. Unfortunatly just like with all major sports it was for a promotional add for selling poison too children. Even the columbian Cartels did't try too sell to that demographic. Liked the sports exposure, and if Paris Hilton has not taught us anything, she has taught us bad press is better than no press.

I would do that in a second, paid or not. The enjoyment factor of doing dex and some clippers while wearing a big mac on my chest would be alone something to remeber forever.

Can anyone upload the video or find it on the net? I would really like to watch. I don't watch tv at all.

I'm not sure pro sportsmen can sell out. Isn't the only way we get money through sponsorship? Selling out would be doing an add for footbag.com advertising "blough-chi."

doing endorsements to receive sponsorship is the only way to make a living off a sport unless you are actually placing in the cash spots at many competitions.

selling out = taking money from and subsequently promoting an organization which your persona claims to believe to be in opposition to the values of your own organization. (off the dome definition)

an example from the most common usage of the term
a punk band that sings about the 'man' personified as a large record company, virgin records for example. then they sign on with virgin records because they offer a lot of money

if a footbag player did a commercial for a head shop it might be considered selling out because it is in direct defiance of the general values of the footbag community. though many of us smoke, we are trying as a whole to lift the perception that we are all stoners, in this way, you could probably be considered a sell out.

other than that sponsorship is great and so is exposure, im glad more people have seen this commercial.
