because you suck at stitching you have no money to buy a bag? is that what you're saying?

everyone starts out as a "newb", and most people have to buy bags. if no one offers you a free footbag, then your best bet is to wait around for a contest online or going to a tourney and winning a consecutives or novice contest.

i dont want to be discouraging to you, buddy. footbag is a great sport with a lot of generous people, so just have some patience and save up that allowance. there are a few people who stitch that will give discounts or even trade for something else, so just keep your eyes open and make some new footbag friends.

I have no idea what a "jaq saq" is, so I'm guessing the answer is probably "no". Just get a Mr. Sandman, otherwise you are wasting your money, and you will end up buying a Mr. Sandman down the road anyway...

You can get a money order at a post office. You are basically insuring your money, by putting it into a cheque form, so someone can't steal your letter and the money inside. Go to the post office, with your printed-out order form for Freedom Footbags, and an envelope, pay for a money order for the amount that your footbag will cost (and shipping + tax), and make the payment out to whomever it is (Daryl Genz probably, if it is for Freedom Footbags), put the money order in the envelope with both sender's and reciever's addresses, seal it up, pay for postage (like, 50 cents, or whatever it is in the U.S.A. -- although you will probably pay for the money order and the postage at the same time) and then wait about two weeks for your footbag to arrive (a week for you money order to send, and a week for your footbag to send).

Also, you could tell your parents to chill out; it's not 1980.

I have a jaq saq bag that i bought at a store in my local mall quite some time ago. It is an 8 panel sandbag. Not bad for beginner kickers i guess, though i'd recommend a mr. sandbag vs. a jaq sac bag. Once the jaq saq breaks in and the material stretches out i believe you could throw it off a one story building and still toe stall it.

A money order is basically a cash payment ordered to a certain individual. Some people like money orders compared to checks so they know the payment won't bounce and be invalid when they try to cash it, and the sender can rest assured knowing that their money won't go to anyone except the person they want it to go to.

Good luck at finding a suitable bag to play with.

No, you don't need a bank account. Anyone with cash at hand can buy a money order at places like the post office or even convenience stores.

As well as the money order thing you could find a friend. Pay him the cash for a footbag. have him use a creditcard or w/e and have it shipped to his house so you can pick it up when it arrives.

Or try to explain to your parents that footbag is a sport. And every sport has specialized equipment. And in order to play the sport to your best ability you need to have a footbag and shred shoes.

Do you live near any other shredders?

if you did you might be able to get a footbag from them.

well where do you live? By adding your location to ur profile you can have the opportunity to have shredders see your location and see if they can come shred with you. You can add it by clicking the "profile " link at the top of the page.

Or you could pray. Either for a location listing or a bag.
