Problem Of Visability! Important! Please take a look!
I think a very shredable bag that would be very bright and big is for sure possible. I don't have an idea for it but i'm sure someone could come up with it.
I know you stitcher's out there can do this, lets put all our greatest footbag minds and stitcher's in a room and not let them out until they make the greatest bag of all time.

Like the Pick of Destiny...except it's a footbag....???
I can see the headlines now:
"TWO HUNDRED DEAD, 567 INJURED IN SCUFFLE OVER A FOOTBAG."

hey man... what kind of "shows" are you talking about? if you are really serious about shredding, then your prior statement of having a very "BIG" bag is not a good idea.. we all know that for shred, the smaller the bag, the better. so if you are interested at all in your own personal improvement, stay away from said big bags. but if you dont care about getting better, and just want to spread awareness, then go for it
but youll have a hard time landing anything decent with a big bag with batteries in it. (as was said before). personally, i love tiny dark bags... they contrast nicely on my white lavers. to each his own, i guess. when i shred, im all focuse on hitting a new trick or combo, or drilling, not "hey i wonder if that guy knows who vasek is?".... i guess our minds just work differently. good luck man, we do need to spread the word of footbag... but i dont think this is the way, honestly.

I know where you guys are coming from. I have often thought when shredding in public what everyone around me sees. I get the majority of my shred at home though. Anyway, i think the bright bags are a possibility. But right now i think everything is all right. If someone comes up and asks you what you're doing, then they obviously are generally interested. Now if they just walk away with few words after you say you're footbagging, then they obviously don't care enough to ask you about it. I personally like the underground nature of the sport, makes me feel like I'm part of something special. Though i do love spreading the word. If anyone walks up to me and asks me to teach them, I'll tell them that if they're really serious, go buy lavers, (Or Quantums, or any footbag shoe) a bag, Preferably a mister Sand Bag (For beginners) Then after they do that, i know they're dedicated to the sport. Thats how i find out if anyones interested. But again i know what you guys mean for shows and things. It would make sense for the spectators to actually know and realize whats happening in front of them. Just my opinion, shred on.

Mom:What the hell is footbag? Go do your homework.
We do shows in night clubs.
We ordered sand bags recenly, they are slighty bigger than our 32p and are the same colour. Will try some experiments with them...

I'm sending these off later today to Clavens for testing... He needs a stage worthy bag. This fist batch is really just a prototype to get his opinion on them... My photography skills are rather lacking, but hopefully you can get the idea, they really are pretty bright, and should definitely contrast against a black curtain:

Peace.

Peace.

I tend to keep spare bags for doing shows, especially shows at night or with artificial lighting. Clean/newish bags seem to be fine to see (or at least the best I have). Other than that, I just play with whatever bag I feel like. I would certainly play with a high visibility bag if there were some available, but don't really care enough to design one myself.
I think the best idea would be to find some kind of UV reactive liquid and douse your bag in it (and have UV lights) when you play in the dark. This would be cool cause the bag would leaving glowing patches on everything it touched but also playing with a wet bag is fine, but paints etc. tend to make them hard and crusty, or to flake off.
Ok maybe that's not the "best" idea, but it would be cool
