NFB Footblog

This is the...

Hooray!

There's a total of about 6 members in the NFB:

Brian Dennis
Holly Mathews
Cody Furline
Tyler Cooper
Rebecca Neel
Myself

Only Brian, Holly, and I have Modified.in accounts (for now), but we'll keep you guys updated on the NFB newbies.

I guess I'll get things started...

In the latest sessions we've had, I've seen Brian foot Rev. Whirr and come close to some amazing Phasing stuff. He also hit Ripped Warrior in his second or third attempt.

Holly's footed D.L.O. a lot of times, she's really close to hitting it. She's getting better feel for things and her strings are starting to get longer. She did a tiltless 3 the other day, it was cool.

Cody has his toes and I think his inside stalls down, and he's hit Leg Over and Clipper multiple times.

Tyler is working on getting his toe and inside stalls down, but he'll progress pretty fast.

Rebecca sent me a text message yesterday telling me that she hit three toe stalls in a row, so major thanks goes out to Holly for giving her some shoes to shred in.

As for me, I've hit some new stuff. One of the things I hit you guys will have to watch in this month's Online Competition (thanks Brian for filming). I don't think it's all there, but I think it's good enough. I hit Pixie Mobius at World's and I tried to alpine it a few times, I came pretty close. I also hit Pixie Spinning Paradox Mirage. I think that's a new invention, someone correct me if I'm wrong. I feel that I'm slacking in my shred, I'm going to try and work more on consistency.

I'm trying to be more active on the forums, so give us feedback, comments, whatever to keep the NFB going strong.

(Oh and I'm downloading Worship The Sack, I heard it was pretty good)

I tried another new move. I came really close to hitting Pixie Scorpion's Tail. It's pretty sweet.

The top of my foot hurts really bad and is pretty swolen. It's been hurting for about a week now. I heard that spot takes a while to heal.

Shucks...

I haven't shred for 2 or so weeks.
My foot pain is lightening up, but still stings.
I'm going to take Zac's advice and take a
fruit bath.

Maybe I'll recover like Clavens.
Psh...

that sucks lee.

yesterday we ended up at the shred spot an hour early because we're tards and forgot to set all the clocks, including the one in the car.

i sealed blizzard>atom>egg

rip b2b a few times
clipper

lots of good shuffle

lots of tiltless

holly had some good stuff too, really getting the basics solid.

then we watched net and played hack for like an hour and called it a day.

it was nice.

Clavens recovered by going to a doctor. I recommend you see a specialist too, if it's an option.

Good luck with the recovery.

Yeh.
I have an appointment tomorrow after class.
It's going on 3 weeks of noticable swelling.
This is super lame.
I'll give you guys an update on how it goes.

Nice stuff Brian and Holly!
I wish I was there to see it first hand.
Once this foot thing heals, we need to shred often.

[EDIT]

The doctor recommended that I stay off my foot
and wear a boot for 2 or so weeks.
After that I should be fine.
I'm glad it's only 2 weeks.

I re-watched the Sick 1's and 3's and I wanted to
give major props to Brian and Holly again, and also
to Paul Gresset and Will Digges.
Will - You're crazy man.
Paul - I can see you're progressing fast, man.
Nice flawless Sick 3.

Also, thanks goes out to David Clavens for his
advice and "Senor Grommet" for his criticism.
