Going to the Galapagos was and will be one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I went on a school trip with 9 other kids from my school and 2 teachers (kids were picked after applying, 40+kids apped). We were on a 80 foot sailing yacht and it was amazing. Some of the most amazing and breath taking scenery ever. The animals knew know fear of people. The sea lions were playful and the birds did not bother to fly away. All in all it was amazing. I learned a lot and was awe struck.
If you have the chance to go, DO IT!
Quito
Baltra

oh galapagos ..such a nice place. I was there too with my father on a sorta business trip to meet somebody that livs on one of the islands. They have the most breath taking beaches and lagoons ever. And really good surf. Wish I could of stayed longer and did some scubadiving, it is supposedly one of the best in the world. Looks like you guys where in some really really nice places. Did you get to see all the islands?
Sadly I only got to see Santa Cruz and Baltra but they were very cool + some small islands with sea lions and blue foot boobies

I think we ended up hitting 12/13 islands we planned for. One of my friends had a fever of 102+ and stomach pains so we skipped an island to meet up with a doctor from a bigger ship because they feared he had appendicitis. The navy offered to help haha. He ended up being fine, just had a fever and a stomach pain from semi-bellyflop off the ship (rope swing).
So we saw most of the major islands and the city on Santa Cruz was a lot of fun. I wish I was scuba certified for the trip, but snorkling was still amazing.
