I'm curious who made it to BAP in the shortest amount of time since they started playing....anyone?

Vasek made BAP and won worlds after playing for like 2 years. I don't know if that's the quickest but its definitley mind boggling.

Nick Landes got better faster than anyone I have ever seen. Although he's not bap yet he got an honorable mention with the rest of the bap worthy crew.

Nick told me he's been playing for 5 years. He's very very good, but not in BAP yet. If he made it in 08, that would be six years, not all that fast compared to some others.

Kyle Crawford made BAP after like a year and a half (I'm pretty sure), started in 1996, then BAPed at 98 worlds, then pulled his famous disappearing act. I found out a couple weeks ago he works at Dell computers in Round Rock, TX and has absolutely no interest in getting back into footbag.

I got in the second that I picked up a bag, but they were like, "You're so good, you need to be in a posse all by yourself."
"Fuck it man, you just gotta do it."

Was that to me? If so, I don't get to make stuff up, ergo, what I said was true.

Vaska for sure.

It takes forever for most people.

It took me 6 years before being BAPtized in 2000.

Honza definitely beat Vasek.

But Lon suggests a more interesting question; who is the oldest bap member - as in who had been playing for the longest period of time before making bap. Also I guess the original BAPs don't count, since they were mainly top players before BAP existed, and surely would have been BAPped if it existed before then.

The oldest person inducted into BAP was Carol, but I'm not sure how long she'd been playing before getting in. I think Richie Abshire is the safest bet for "longest time playing footbag before making BAP." But he took off some years in between.

If Justin Dale gets BAPtized this coming summer, I think that might be the longest someone has played beforehand. But it hasn't happened yet

How long has Justin played? If I step up my game and get invited again, and accept, I would probably own this record.

Wink is right, Ken, that's totally cheating!
