I just figured out the secret to this vid.

SPOILER!

He's playing in an elevator! Look at the background! So if he's doing the string while the elevator is plummetting at a fast enough rate, it is easier for him to get flapper stalls.

Yah I don't think there is windows or closets in elevators either. Unless he's playing in the elevator from "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory Two". Now it makes sense. He's playing in a flying elevator.
