I think we are going to open the circle comp to everybody... I kinda wanted it to be just a demo, but if people want to compete in it, well do it.

Oh and subway... there are 3 day passes I believe.

Rain location (dick sheas) we have the location secured as I mentioned before, but we are not using unless it is raining or 40 degrees. Bring warm clothes that you can shred in. Maybe underarmor or another tight long sleve shirt. Warm hat and gloves. I think that this is a really good opportunity that should not be passed up because of a little cold.

Also bring sleeping bags and pillows.

Hey. The Red Bulls are only going to be there on Saturday. We are going to have to pressure them into doing a battle. They usually dont like to do it unless their hosts insist. So make sure you all insist when you see them. And vote for Ben ha when the time comes. Either way, I am looking forward to showing you all what I have learned during my time with a soccer ball.

This story is definitely worth the read.

so last night i had to take the red line subway in dorchester back to my friends house. there also happened to be remnants of hurricane noel outside, so there werent many people in the station (or on the train for that matter). i had also been playing footbag with doug (dtank, aka doug the dank tank "tanktanktankdanktank" dank tank dank tanksorry, as dave chappelle said in that one like stand up bit about his white friend "im a little high" and chris (christopholes) at Northeastern Univ. earlier, so i had still had my footbag gear. so i was just kicking lightly with rolled up pants and shell-toes when these two random like dominican ladies who looked to be in their early thirties (they were attractive in the least. i wound up learning that one of them seems to speak no english at all, and the other one that i obviously talked to the most had a friggin reverse mohawk with her mad frizzy black hair. but the middle wasnt totally shaved. anyway) walked onto the platform where i was just starting to kick. so one of them walks up to me and asks for directions how to get to porter sq on the red line. so i told her and asked where they were from. she said new york. i said "oh cool im going to new york city next weekend." she said (in a strange accent that i didnt recognize) so she replies "oh what part?" im like "manhatten. there's going to be a competition style hacky sack tournament in washing sq. that im going to participate in." and then proceeded to strap on my units all while giving the best 15 minute explanation of footbag that i've ever given. i rolled my pants up a bit higher and tightened on my G-G-G-G-Unitttttsssss and proceeded with a awesome demonstration on the platform that involved light kicking, lots of osii, juggling two bags, blind osis, pdx blender, ps whirl, atomsmasher, some nice ducking, torque to behind the back hand catch, etc, with very few drops. she was, needless to say, pretty blown away. when the train finally came we hopped on and sat down and i explained to her all about the jam at washington sq park and how she should come out next saturday. she said she almost definitely would, and seemed really interested. i told her about checking out footbag on youtube, and about worlds, and about modified, and of course all about the BSC.

just thought i'd share that little story.

6 days, biatches.

cool story. I personally don't think they'd get involved into footbag that much as they're 30ish and most of the people i know at that age don't really do ANYTHING sportly. But i could be completely wrong.

Im gonna fire hack tomorrow!! hopefully the burn wounds will heal by saturday.

I wanna go.

Mad support ya'll. Too bad Ontario Footbag is gonna upset all the comps with mighty footbag prowess.

;) Have fun, cats.

You can call me and/or Barrett. I think you have my number, Will. I'll escort you to Washington Square. :)

I'll be getting into Penn station around 3 (compensating for it probably being late) is anyone going to be at the square already shredding by then?
