step-by-step how to make a real oshbag

I draw pen(12) and hex(20) on material and then i cut them off.
I always start with hex

with technique - - -
I finish stitching on hex-side and i go on to the middle of shorter edge of hex

I continue further...

tighten all pieces

I loose last two sides. keeping three remaning sides still tighten

I make knob, i put stitch into needle three times, and .....

this results into this... whole "flower" arrange rectangularly

and i continue with same technique until the oshbag is finished

i use small lead balls (average 0,087" or 2mm) as filling

and, there is ower

please write me, what I do badly....

How do you stitch your second pent so that the number of stitches are even and that there r bleedholes?

He makes 2 holes in the small side of the hex

johnl583: Normal thread is very light, and so I must use only very strong. exp. thread for fishing, it's super thin and strong (loading capacity is 8kg!!!)
fabric use only ultra suede light

I have dacron fishing line but that probably works too. Its weight capacity is 30 pounds(13.5 kg)

have you tried floss as a string? its pretty strong, dosent shred or fray, and is real easy to stitch with. i think floss makes a bag seem "choicer" sooner, and upholstry thread makes it feel like they wont break in. (they will, but it seems to take longger.

otherwise, everything loooks real good. practice will make them perfect, as im sure you know. your stitch placement looks pretty good, and they look nice at the end. what is your filler?

how many bags have you made? ball park it if you dont know.
have you done much expierementing with stitch placement, filler, and template sizes? changing any one of those things can completely change a bag.

I've been using floss, but it sometimes gets stuck together or sticky to my hands sometimes.

upholstry thread is the best i have used for stitching bags. i have tried polyester thread (breaks), button thread (doesnt break, but i dont like the feel of it, and its difficult to string through thinner-eyed needles), upholstry thread (by far my favorite. doesnt ever break, and i like the non-stretching, thin feel of it) and floss, which i dont personally like, but it does work for other people obviously.

I use floss too, but I find that it does shred/fray sometimes (mostly where it folds in the needle eye).

I've never used upholstery thread, but I've heard the opposite from a very good stitcher/shredder.
