This session everything just seemed to click, you know that feeling like you have been working on a move for a while and suddenly it clicks.

Highlights on an 1.5 hr session:

-flipwalk bsos many different times
-pteradon bsos a few times
-dragon set barrage bsos a few times
-ss and op firefly bsos (harder than it seems)
-firefly > blizzard > rpt > run
-twirl dragon bsos
-dragon slayer > dragon blender
-rev whirling rake > atom smasher > run

Hey Sitarski. Nice blog. You seem to pull some pretty funky stuff, that is great.

I was wondering what a flipwalk is? Also, what is a pteradon and firefly? Please excsue the noobness, as I am not that advanced at freestyle yet.

flipwalk = dragon set stepping op butterfly dragon or in other words ripwalk starting and ending on dragon
pteradon = paradon dragon
firefly = butterfly ending on dragon
dragon slayer = atomic firefly

And just in case you dont know what dragon is: xbody outside stall

Dont worry a lot of people dont really know proper terminology for dragon moves. A huge list of moves: http://modified.in/footbag/viewtopic.php?t=2871

hope that helps

Hopefully Thanksgiving break will come faster because i am not having much time for footbag and sleep. So exhausted today and i work till about 1 am tonight. Still trying for 2-4 sessions a week, 2 sessions with people and 1-2 sessions as drilling. Im still trying to weed out those pesky 2 adds that plague me, those far legovers and dragons, which i dont think ill be able to do anytime soon.

Goals for every non drill session are:
flipwalk bsos
twirl dragon bs
pteradon bs
swapwalk bs
ducking dragon bsos
blender dragon bs

Ever since i hit flipwalk bsos a week or so ago i have hit flipwalk bsos every session since at least twice.

Barfly dragon should be called Bargon - perfect name

Goals before 2008:
-Flipwalk x3
-swapwalk bsos
-bargon bs more easily
-go guiltless with dragons
-hit all challenges in challenge thread
-flip warrior

Havent had much time for anything, its mostly school, work, homework, and the occasional nap. Played recently and i was too exhausted to hit much, dragon stepping suffered a lot, one good run that i can remember (a good little guiltless run):

-smudge > plo > rpt > firefly > dragonosis > blizzard > dlo > plo > dlo > plo > firefly > blizzard > terrage > drop
-there was another run about the same length and guiltless but it wasnt that remarkable so i dont remember.

At the end of the session i gave those records in lon's record list two tries each and hit:
ss dragon left and right - 10 (previously 7)
alt dragons - 8 (previously 3)
alt fireflies - 4
ss fireflies on left and right - 3
alt dragonosis - 12 (previously 5)

Need more drilling, footbag goes away so quickly.
I will not post until i hit alpine flipwalk on camera at least one side.

Now i said i will not post until apline flipwalk is hit on camera (i did not hit it, but i will hit it before 2009), but i hit some noteworthy runs the other day, sorry for the disappointment.

-dragon set blizzard > pteradon > rpt > dragonosis > dragonosis > pdx illusion > dso > terrage > plo > dso > drop on terrage...
-flipwalk bsos many times
-ss dragon - 22 contacts
-op dragon - 12 contacts (probably could beat these if i tried)
-run > dso > terrage > pteradon > blizzard > dso > terrage > drop
-dragon > rev swirling near symp mirage bsos quite a few times (looks good)
-symp dlo bs
-pixie dso bs and pixie ss dso bs
-paradon dragonosis > pdx dragon blender bs
-magellan > plo > rpt > smudge > plo > rpt > eggbeater > plo > rpt > dlo > plo > rpt > drop, too tired
-dimwalk dragon > stepping far legover > plo > rpt > run

enjoy life,

Glad to hear you are still at it man. It must be tough during a Maine winter. Props on those bargons and pteradon>flipwalk midrun. 2 years in footbag and I still can't double down.

Anyone have any tips on stepping quasi (pdx quantum) set?

I have been messing around with it from a dragon but its not really clearing that quantum set very well... only way that it seems possible to hit it all uptime is doing a symp stepping set before the quasi set. Bet you cant guess what im trying to hit in the future ;) (starts with a w).

Hit a weird two bag thing:
one bag on left foot(red) and one bag on right foot(blue). Throw red bag on left foot up and legover with right foot while setting the other bag(blue) into the air. WHile the blue bag is coming back down legover with the left leg. So its like a legovering legover with 2 bags, also have done mirage to legover with two bags. Ill have footage up sometime in the near future.

New stuff:
-dragon > stepping legover > dragon > stepping near legover > rpt
-spitpteradon bs
-atomic legover > plo > rpt > string
-fs rev whirl dragon midstring
-dragon > pdx illusion > flail > spitfire > dragonosis > dragon torque (liked this one)
-mobius dragon bs

Good session yesterday, first one outside this year

Highlights:
-atomic legover > terrage > rpt
-quantum legover > dso > rpt
-a shuffle run over 20 contacts, mostly pixies
-pteradon > stepping legover > plo > rpt
-longer runs

footed flippiest, full dragon scorpions tail, and double spinning dragon all bs
also was fooling around with rev whirling set and almost sealed the set with a far legover, this set is out of dragon of course.

been dreaming of hitting wovoka back to back, maybe one day...

Expect a new vid soonish, was filming on john mac's expensive camera yesterday and will again on Friday. High quality vid = exciting.

Newish highlights:
-spinning dragon > gyro mirage > pteradon
-gyro mirage bsos
-toe massacre bs (felt good to hit)
-miraging flail
-gyro dlo bs
-gyro illusion bs
-pdx eggbeater bs midstring

lowlights:
-fireflies are gone cant seem to get them downtime/reliably
-'flip' pteradon is getting worse, use to have it just as well as 'strong' side
-need to work on ducking dragons

I was just skimming through your highlights on this page and saw mobius dragon, which sounds like the bizznomb (which is a good thing). Is it dragon set mobius dragon? Also, however you do it, wanna toss one of those in the next vid? I would muchly like to see it.
