It's all you really need anyway.

Loved the Manna special a while back. You should bug Erik to make another of you sometime.

Looking forward to seeing your progress here!

True that.
I won't be home this weekend, either. I'm going to Montana, and then I'm coming home on Wednesday. I'll come hang with you and film solo sessions, though, when I do get back. Hackrifice to the core!

Manna, great job repping the club at that demo! Pretty drop heavy, but considering you did a 4 minute routine, great job! Just fyi, intermediate routines are 1 minute 30 seconds and open routines are 2 minutes long. 4 minutes is way long for an intermediate, but that said you did a good job.
-tips for next time: start slow, you don't need to be busting smear and magellan at the begining. ESPECIALLY in performances for non footbag players.
-Start out with some basic kicks, then rock the toe stalls, inside stalls. go back and forth with this for a while. do something like left toe> right toe> left toe> right inside> left toe> right inside> left inside> right toe> left inside> right toe> etc.
-stop, and take a breath. try to time this with the music a bit. end on a beat or when it's going into a breakdown. look at the crowd, let them know you are working.
-now go a little harder. start of with some clippers or some thing. some same side clippers, then alternate and do some on the other side. maybe switch up at some point and do clipper> osis> clipper> osis or something like that. throw in a cool trick here. do a walk over or a hop over.
-stop, take a breather. try to time it with the music. look at the crowd. since you started with easy stuff (stalls), they will have been super impressed with the clippers!
-now start to mix up your harder tricks. do legover> mirage. don't feel bad about bailing to toe stalls in here. they don't get half the stuff you are doing, so a toe stall here or there to give your self a chance to get your balance and keep the bag up is good. small note: people like around the world. they can follow it, and it makes sense to them. do them back to back to back if you can.
-so mix up all your mirage, clipper, illusion, legover, pick up, butterfly, osis stuff. if you mix it all together they can't follow it, but if you mix it up in a certain way they can follow it better. try clipper> pick up> other clipper> pick up> clipper> far legover> other clipper> other far legover. they don't know what's hard, only what looks cool. that way to folks who don't know it looks like every trick is "separated" by a different stall.
-Again, break and catch your breath, look at the crowd. they are gonna love you by this point because now you just blew their minds.
-now, try harder stuff mixed with easy stuff. so do mirage> legover> toe stall> clipper> ripwalk> toe stall. or you can stop, look at them, point at your feet to let them know you are gonna do something hard, then start with ripwalk or smear or phoenix or something.
-always end your routine with something cool, but something that you know you can hit. it never looks good to drop on your last trick! try something cool, like a hop over or a steping osis. try to end it on the last beat of your song, or if you are in the middle of a song, end it on a beat.
-grab the bag out of the air. throw your arms in the air while looking at the crowd. bow. wave. listen to the cheering and roaring. leave your assistant to pick up the stuffed animals, roses, and panties thrown on stage by your admierers. walk off stage having just hit a dropless routine that looked awesome and easy.
try this next time you do a school routine or talent show and you'll bring the house down.

Challenge:
Every session hit:

10 legovers
10 pickups
10 mirages [both sides]
10 sameside mirages
10 illusions [both sides]
10 sameside illusions
10 atw in-to-out [both sides]
10 atw out-to-in [both sides]

Pdx mirage > same butterfly > osis [repeat] as many rotations as you can (try to beat your record every session!)

5 whirls [both sides] (not in a row)
5 drifters [both sides] (not in a row)
5 pixie sameside clippers [both sides] (not in a row)
5 stepping sameside clippers [both sides] (not in a row)
5 DLOs [both sides] (not in a row)
5 spinning clippers [both sides] (not in a row)
5 clipper-set ducking clippers [both sides] (not in a row)

The last three may be a big challenge, but I think they will become more natural for you pretty quickly.
