Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
I picked the game up yesterday. Anyone else do the same?
I got it for PC ... but it's also out for PS3 and X360 ... not sure about Wii or anything else.
I haven't played a first person shooter in a few years ... so I'm really liking this game right now. It's challenging in many ways ... making me remember where all the keys on my keyboard are.
One thing that I have found with this game is that it really makes you advance forward and take your chances ... meaning that if you just stand in one spot and killing from that spot ... the enemy will just keep on coming until you start moving forward and attack.
It also felt nice to finally purchase a video game instead of ... ummm ... ya know.

I have this game for PC. It's my favorite game right now, but don't play it very often cause of school. When the summer rolls around I might play it more. I'd recommend getting this if you have a computer that can run it.

Ya, us PC players would absolutely humiliate the console players. Mouse precision is > anolog stick precision.King Monkey wrote:Oh yeh they are separate hey.. im on PC. Its a shame you cant all play together but it would be a little unbalanced i guess.

I sitll cant get a hang of the analog and ive been playing halo3 for at least 2 months now and over 200 games at least between my firends console and my own. I just think analog is so stupid. I played for 3 year playing wolfenstein enemy territory on PC and i think i got so used to that that it will take me at least 6 months to get anywhere used to the analog sticks.

The single player is not very long. It's action packed though. You're never bored as there is always something different in each level. If you're not going to play the multiplayer ever, I wouldn't recommend getting it though. The single player is super fun, but playing through it a few times isn't worth $50 in my opinion.
