I am glad you like them.

Sup Modifighters?

I am working on an digital art collaboration with an awesome brazillian artist.
Check his stuff here: http://flickr.com/photos/ceson/

Had a nice conversation with Daryl yesterday. I love that guy.

I don't do other drugs and never have than weed, alcohol and caffeine.

I am really tired of school. I can't wait till it's over so I can actually get good at this art thing.

Right now I am eating an orange, drinking some coffee and listening to Dean Martin. It's chill.

I am more tired of people bitching about annoying people on modified than the actually annoying people.

I hope that some people will think a day or two before they post some of the stuff they do. Maybe it isn't necessary after all..

I posted this in the skateboard thread, I think it fits in here aswell:
Asmus wrote:I am buying my first ever skateboard next month.
I am going to learn the basics in my room during winther and then when summer come I gonna hit up the streets!
I am stoked!

Anybody watched the new Habitat video yet? It looks awesome!

SKATEBOARDING!

P.S.
I am going to take photos of my setup when I choose..
The orange I just ate had a mini orange inside of it!

I wrote a danish paper supposed to take 3 hours in 20 minutes yesterday..

Not a word on footbag yet in here.. 8O

I am just going to keep it that way. You don't wanna hear my whine about being injured anyway..

What's crackalackin'?

I just ordered two books.

Street Sketchbook by Tristan Manco

Image

Here is an unprecedented look at the sketchbooks of some of the world's leading street and graffiti artists. It showcases an incredible diversity of working methods, innovative approaches and personal fixations, including declarations of love, typographic explorations, alter egos, storyboards, mythological creatures, anatomical studies, architectural drawings and extreme doodling. They may be diverse, but they all exude creativity and originality. Their publication will be seen as a landmark in graffiti publishing, and the book is set to be a world bestseller.

Sample page:

And..

The Illuminatus!: Trilogy by Robert Shea

Image

Filled with sex and violence - in and out of time and space - the three books in this trilogy are only partly works of the imagination. They tackle the cover-ups of our time - from who really shot the Kennedys to why there's a pyramid on a one-dollar bill - and suggest a mind-blowing truth.

I hope they get here before december. Though it's probably not perfect timing to order books of Amazon.

Skateboarding:
I am probably buying a full skate setup from one of my littlebrothers friends. I'm bringing it down to the local skateshop tomorrow to let them see if it's okay standards.
I think I am going to pay like 20 bucks or sumthin.
I would really love some Bueno stuff since I love Michael Siebens artwork but since I am going to paint the deck anyway, it would be rather stupid.
Here is a painting by him:
Image

I am really good at writing long posts about stuff that only I care about..
If you find any of this shit interesting please say so biotch!

8) I do! And I'm going to look for that street sketchbook in stores. It looks awesome. I've always been fascinated by graffiti and street art of all sorts ever since I went to Montreal when I was 13 or 14 or so and saw some really cool graffiti under some of the city bridges. I was amazed.

how long have you been skating for?

I have never been skating. But I will.. 8)
My littlebrother is going to pick up the board for me in about an hour!

I just did reverse dragon osis bs and some pixie variations off it.
I couldn't help it I had to try something..

I bought some more stuff..

All the issues of the fabulous furry freak brothers for a cheap.

Image

Info:
The comics relate the picaresque adventures of the eponymous "brothers" and their attempts to procure drugs without "getting burned," while avoiding apprehension by the police. Other storylines include "Fat Freddie's Cat" and a cockroach empire located in the kitchen. The stories are satirical in nature, often targeting the establishment and right-wing politics. For a counterculture production, the standard of artwork is exceptionally high; Shelton's striving for accuracy and attention to detail have earned him comparisons with Hergé.

I have loved this comic for many years probably already before I could read english. I am stoked on finally owning it.

I also bought Yesterdays New Quitet - Yesterdays Universe

Image

Yesterdays Universe completed the cycle of releases by Yesterdays New Quintet and introduces a new collection of artist names created by Madlib: The Jazzistics, The Young Jazz Rebels, Jackson Conti, Suntouch, The Jahari Massamba Unit, Kamala Walker & The Soul Tribe, The Last Electro-Acoustic Space Jazz & Percussion Ensemble, The Yesterdays Universe All-Stars, The Otis Jackson Jr. Trio, and The Eddie Prince Fusion Band.

Madlib began Yesterdays New Quintet in 2000, releasing the album Angles Without Edges in 2001. As the group progressed, a plan was developed for each of the band members to release "solo" records and to introduce new members and groups into what would be called "Yesterdays Universe".

So far it's really good.. Madlib is a genius!

Don't worry I won't write more about stuff I buy.
Since I have no more money left..

I want a polaroid camera for christmas. That would be slick!

So?

Yesterday was crazy!!!!11

I wake up hellah hangover at a couch because my two older brothers are home and one of them had taken my bed. :x

My mom tell me we are going to his new husbands dads 80 year birthday.
I do not feel to go at all.. So I end up sitting right next to my older brothers and I can feel that we are going to get drunk.

So we started drinking schnapps/aquavit which is okay to a certain degree but we just kept on and on. And we all got fucked.

Then we took a cab home. I turned on my computer and setup the date I was talking about earlier. Going out to her and watch a couple o' movies.

The youngest of my oldest brothers came down and checked out the girl and gave me his word that she looked swell.. (He is a pimp)
I really feel like posting a picture of her, but that wouldn't be nice.

We smoked a joint and he gave me a nice bag of weed. I gave him one of my footbag stickers to put on his car. He wants me to do a piece on it but Im a bit scared. My can control is shit!

So I took the train to visit the girl. Came to her house. Said hi to her family (which went surprisingly well..)
We watched a movie, cuddled and kissed. A nice time..

I really wanted to stay but she told me that her entire family was coming to brunch next morning. I didn't want to stay for that so I took the last train home.

Went to a big ass party at my best friends place. Talked to a guy named Henrik Von Lindern (I love that name..)
We always talk really well, he wants to be an artist aswell..
He told me that he is going to buy an apartment soon and invited me to come over for a weekend of weed, beer and painting.
That would be sooo hein!

So I stayed there for a couple of hours, bought a pizzaslice at the local pizzaplace and walked home..

Slept on the couch again.. DAMN!

That got really long. Hope you enjoyed reading it.

I miss you all.

Your welcome Marco!

My life is 'kay..

My first skateboard session:

First I want to say that this was alot of fun. Really hard but alot of fun!
I fell a couple of times but since it was on my carpet it wasn't too bad.

I mainly just rode around, gettin' used to the board.
I think I have to tighten up the kingpin a little..

I practiced ollie for quite a while. I don't think I landed any but I could see some progress.

I was super close to Railstand/Primo many times.
I got up on it but got scared for falling on my ass and just bailed out.
I will learn this soon.
This is how it looks if some of you wonder:
Image

Also I managed to drop from a chair a couple of times.
Standing on the tail and just moving my weight.
But also jumping out on the board while letting it drop from my hand.
I was stoked on that.

Then I stretched out. My knees didn't hurt at all..

About an hour of work. Loads of fun..

Now tigerbalm then homework.. zzz!

primo is a sick trick, man. I landed one once on my longboard and stuck it for a few seconds before I fell back on my ass. Such a thrill. It's a stylie trick. You should do power slides. They're pretty easy, you'll get them in a day. But you can just mess around with them all over a city street. And if you're creative enough with them people will give you more props than if you did some massive flip trick.

TIGER BALM!!!!! peace.

I am not really riding around which makes it hard to work powerslides.
(Im just practicing in my room so far.)

But I will definitely learn powerslides!
I am going to focus on oldschool moves like powerslides, reverts, wallrides etc.
I don't wanna die skateboarding so I am not going to do big stairs or anything.

I feel like shredding sooo bad.

I am going to try starting my session with doing this:

Mirage x 15 bs
Legover x 25
Illusion x 10 bs
Pickup x 20
Infinity x 20
Osis x 20

Also I am going to only hit 3 adds and less in my runs.

I wanna be able to do good runs!

Skate/Shred Session:

I started out skateboarding. Mainly working on balance (Manual while standing still, 180 and 360 turns while standing still..)
And then I worked a bit more on Ollie and Primo.
Got my first bruise when I fell back into my pc-table while practicing primo. 8)
I can feel I am getting more used to just standing on the board.
It feels much more natural already..

Then I stretched out litely and got into my shred gear.
First I warmed up with a mix of toe/inside kicks and stalls.

Then I did:
Mirage x 20 BS (Stoked on hitting 11 in a row on good side)
Legover x 50
Illusion x 5 BS ( I suck! )
Pickup x 20
Infinity x 30
Osis x 20
All of them marathon like - continue from where I dropped.

After that I stretched out hardcore for a good while.

About 80 minutes total..
No knee problems. STROKED!

I don't think I have ever schooled that seriously.

Session again on friday. Tomorrow I will focus on drawing.

Tonight will consisten of homework, EA Skate and hopefully going to sleep early.
