-far symp swirling osis>gyro clipper>string
-been straying from gyro clips lately which were a strong point of my game over the summer. so i've been drilling those again.

Found a weak point in my game after a short pants session yesterday. Ducking illusions. should start drilling these. ducking eggbeater is a dream trick.

-bsos ducking pdx illusion bsos. probably my first time ever

I was thinking about the phrase "never say never" yesterday. is it just me or is that phrase absolutely meaningless taken in literal context. paradox?

I'm really itching to play footbag but this girl has my footbag shoes. She works in a shoe store and is going to try and mend the inside of my left shoe which is busting out. All my shred shoes bust out the inside of the left foot.

I have a white hair growing out of my mustache. I'm too young for that :(

I took a little trip down to Boise this last weekend. After visiting, I have come to the conclusion that I am definitely moving there when I'm done with school/summer work. It'll probably be next October/November. I have a built in job at the co-op, house on Bannock st., a pretty girlfriend, and cool roommates, not to mention a sweet footbag scene 8) .

The MFA had a session just now, and a little drama went down concerning SJFF. Here's the tentative plan with the MFA: Evan and I both drive out. Evan leaves with Jere on Friday morning and they will pick James Randall up in Spokane on the way. I will leave with Kevin when we are done with class on Friday afternoon. We will the proceed to rock the Seattle jam with some brand new components. Unless there is free crash space elsewhere, or a hotel situation is already arranged, we'll probably stay at my sister's place on Magnolia Hill.

Kevin just bought himself an airplane ticket that leaves on Sunday night. I might leave then, or stay until Monday morning. Either way, I'm going to Eugene instead of coming back to Montana. I have a date with an ex-girlfriend from high school in Eugene on Monday at 3. Evan, Jere and James Randall will leave Sunday night and make it back to Montana a little later. Whew, it took a lot of immature bickering between Jere and Evan to formulate that plan, but it sounds like a good one.

The weather looks like shit, but we'll try to do our best to make it there in one piece.

I've been doing warmups in my dress pants on certain days. It feels pretty cool. I'm glad all of you are making it to sjff and are picking up good ol same name.

It'll be fun to kick with you ericksonj.

p.s. if you jumble your name, you get "I's no jerk" and a random c left over

Thanks so much for posting that Ladytron link in that one thread!! They are AWESOME!! I heard "Playgirl", like, 4 years ago (CSS4, during a circle of just Lon and Jim!) and LOVED it, and asked if anyone knew the song, and I never found out, and now I am totally listening to it!!!

Do you have more music suggestions??
Also, since I'm posting anyway, I plan on being a librarian again :D
We should get together and eat chocolate chip mint ice cream and talk about filing :D

Ok, so SJFF is over and the MFA made another glorious appearance. I'm surprised nobody has posted yet. I hope everybody made it back to Montana all right. My ride to Eugene was a little rainy, but not so bad. SJFF was good, but I feel like there was a lot of unnecessary drama that went down within the MFA. Regardless, it was a good festival. It was well worth the time and money it took to make it there. Any other thoughts?

Condensed version:
SJFF was great. Riley and I drove up on Friday. before leaving missoula I saw a hawk eating a bird on the sidewalk near campus. we also saw a license plate that said "KEVIDOO" and a semi with illegal immigrants inside surrounded by cops.

When we got there, we were lost in south seattle but managed to find the renegade show. saw a bunch of familiar faces. Kevin Richey got wasted and locked a parrot in his car. James Randall and I stayed up till 6 in the morning drinking and playing the wii until matt baker came down and basically told us to shut the fuck up and leave or sleep.

Was really excited to shred on saturday b/c i hadn't played in over a week but had been training hard for competition. But got pissed because Evan took his sweet time getting ready in the morning and because of it we missed registration and half the competition. so much for training. I then was in kind of a rage and played like shit the whole time. and so just ended up trying big tricks that there's no chance I'd hit.

Managed to get the first 4 dexes once on phasing gyro janiwalker and footed phasing mobius. Nick Landes and I kept trying ducking paradox whirling opp butter as well. that's a cool trick. also got 4 deep dexes on frontside nemesis

Closed the weekend kicking with james erickson and aaron orton trying silly tricks. caught a plane back home and slept in.

Sam and I smiled at eachother

dannyW, I can finally put a face to a modified name. did you kick at all this sjff?

was thinking about superhero alteregos today. If you were a superhero, who would you be? note: not one that you wish to be.

I'd probably be captain oblivious.
