what measurements are good to put into the pattern generator? like golfball-sized or maybe a little bit smaller, what say you?

Like.... if you open the generator, it gives example dimensions right there...

There's more to the size of a bag than the dimensions of the template, so if someone shares the dimensions they use, you certainly aren't going to create a duplicate bag.

also, on feilds fabric, is the ultrasuede SOFT or ultrasuede LIGHT better for footbags?

i went to my local joann's fabric store, and they have "microsuede"... is that the same stuff as ultrasuede? also, i requested samples from the website that was mentioned. i hope i get it =)

no microsuede is not the same but is good to practice with though. anything that is woven is bad cause stitches will not hold well. but like i said, good and cost affective for practice

How to finish it? That was always my problem but i have stitched only 6 and 24-panel footbags...What about the 32-nd panel...How to stitch it's last side, Jerab???

its called a blind stitch. You can search it and find a thread because i can't find the words to explain it. Or you could stitch the last side(s) and loosen the stitches flip the bag goodside-out and tighten the stiches.

No. And I don't think you should even consider it. Fraying facile/fabric deteriorates the foundation of a fabric, and it makes it harder to sew with.

I have been offerred to have my facile cut by a laser cutter, though.

ok thanks wasabi and that would be awesome if it didnt burn it. you would have super precise cuts every time! imagine how much time that would save if the cutter was fast.

I don't get it, how would cutting it with a very sharp X-acto=fraying it?

If you don't go completely straight, like you do with scissors, it will fray. I've tried it.

its also pretty hard to cut with and x-acto or razor blade. Its also kinda dangerous if you slip and chop a finger or two off. I just stick to plastic safety scissors.

I have a big big problem when i stitch a pentagon to a hexagon and begin to stitch anoter hexagon i've stitched about 1 mm of the pentagon and i can't stitch the whole side of the hex...Where 's my mistake...Also there is a hole between 2 hexes and pentagon...?????????? HELP PLEASE
