I know the feeling though. Big breaks from dramafied is nice, but come back eventually when your head's cooled down. The community wouldn't be the community if everyone just got up and left forever after becoming a staple of modified.

I've gotten used to seeing your posts and reading what you have to contribute. There's lots of good amongst all the drama too. People are going to be people, and sometimes things get worded wrong and the internet makes us interpret things incorrectly. I'd miss you if you were gone forever. <3

Remember how much you like the people on modified in real life?

its been like that for every young male in my family.

so i got a break from my printmaking teacher. he cut our assignment in half (the work load). now i only have to make 5 good etching prints, and lot of other crap. it was so we could prepare for the upcoming critique. its a good thing.

im doing a series of DHL ads for design 2. im not looking forward to it, since its our final, and we have to make a separate bilboard or something to go with the campaign. its alot to do in short time.

yoyo club tonight. hopefully i can get to bed early too... i slept thru science class.. it was a movie anyways. stupid paper for that class is due thursday or something. i wont be finished. oh well.

my black eye is almost gone. the blood in my eye is still present. it has reached my cornea.

footbag? none for now.

but yoyo is going good. learned sideways arials, bee stings, and electric fan. getting them clean is another thing.

gotta get back to class.

trying so hard?? What are you talking about. The only thing I was trying to do was share some wisdom with you. Why dont you go reread what I posted and look for sarcasm or malice... THERE IS NONE! I actually care about how you feel every time you message me that your life isnt going so well, I have experienced the same thing for reasons unknown to me and then learned what was keeping me down, I was trying to be nice to you and this is your response?

I guess you all arent open minded enough yet to learn anything from what I said. For example instead of ignoring what Holly responded just now, I can reread the part where she says I only have affect on my relationship with myself and other people... so even though the post was directed at me negatively I can derive positivity from it. Now go reread my post and learn a thing or two..

Didn't forget about shoes modding, sorry for the long delay. Carpet in my barn "shred tent" (you should see where I shred, it's hilarious) is making my current shoes last really nicely. Will be back in touch soon enough if the offer still stands.

Since you like yo-yo, I thought you'd find this story interesting. I'm a product manager and I work with all sorts of vendors to select products etc. Anyhow, I'm on hold with one of my vendors that sells all sorts of static-safe products (i.e. nothing to do with yo-yo or footbag) and it turns out that they are under the same umbrella as Duncan. So, though I work in Electronic Distribution industry, I somehow came full circle to be in touch with the sales manager for Footbag/Juggling/Yo-yo etc. I'm seeing if I can hook them up with some footbag players for a demo.

Ok, so maybe that wasn't that interesting. Ha ha.. If not, sorry for the spam!

great news!!!!

brian and i went to a yoyo meeting last night at this magic shop close to our house. turns out, they have some higgins brothers footbags, some juggle clubs, yoyos, and just a bunch of skill stuff! we asked the owner if he could order juggling balls and he said he could, and we told him about how we make footbags. one thing lead to another, and he said we can footbag in his shop!!!!!!! its all carpeted, theres a show room that has chairs and a stage, and we can footbag while the yoyoers are yoing! i was so glad that we found an indoor shred spot! its only every other tuesday, but oh well.

oh ya, i hit reverse cascade last night. and im learning a trick called yoyo.

reif, its cool for you to get your shoes whenever. the offer still stands for me to mod them. no hurry bro, theyre your shoes!

elliott, my ankle feels a little better. im not sure when we will footbag, but im pretty sure we will kick at the skatepark this weekend. i talked to lee and he went to the doctor. the doc said he has a stress fracture and he has to wear a boot for 2 weeks. good news is the boot is really making it feel better.

kyle, thanks for being so cool. can't wait to see you again! hope you and your gf are doing well.

ps. im gonna try whirl again this weekend.

Hey guys,

Why wait to quit modified? people posting stupid things and getting you down isnt going to make you want to kick more. its going to push you away.

You guys are two of the nicest people I have ever met in footbag, I feel honored to have made friends as good as you in only the 3 times we have ever seen each other.

Im gonna be honest, I dont read modified a lot so i have missed a lot of what has happend to make you down holly, but i hope you feel better.

we probably wont be online as much. we only want to cut the bullshit from other people. we should probably just stitch yoyo or juggle instead of browsing forums.

we dont mind modified, but if we get dragged into mudfights or people are just assholes, then we can deal without. theres just so much useless bullshit / shitheads on here that really rubs the wrong way and takes the fun out of footbag.

we footbag when we want. modified dosent have any effect on that. except when a tourney is annouced.
