whatever, it takes less time to search than start a new thread, and if you really dont have time to search at that time, wait until you do, but don't start threads without using the search bar, everyone will be happier that way.

gotta agree with you on this one, bob. if i've seen it before, i'll skip it. I'm not going to pretend that my time is ever so important that every one should research their posts to ensure that a topic hasn't already been made inorder to save me wasting precious seconds. i mean we don't flame cats for posting similar things with in a topic. "uh dude, you obviously didn't read the thread, but that finnish dude 3 posts up just listed his reasons for disliking x-dex. Your list was pretty much the same. use the search button next time, okay bud?" yeah, that would go over well.

side note: in this community flame wars are pretty stupid. i'll just remember who you are and shit on your cheek while you sleep at the next jam we're both at. sweet dreams.

uhh, i hope this isnt directed at me, you know im not the type of person who deserves that, im not a jerk and anyone who has met me knows i wasnt being malicious with my response. it isnt my goal to flame anyone, i was just letting him know that it annoys a lot of people on the forum when videos are posted multiple times, and if i didnt post, someone else would have, and they wouldnt have been nearly as succinct (and a hell of a lot less neutral sounding) as i was.

also the original post was "has anyone seen this? sorry if this is old." i answered the question simply and without flaming.

also bob, i have never flamed you, i dont get pissed off during resonable discourse, and insulting and attacking others is not something i get my jollies off of, i was simply trying as i said before to nip any actual flaming in the bud. if you guys are seriously getting on my case about this, you're just as bad as me for posting in the first place.

haha, no it wasn't directed at you. it was just a gereal statement about flame wars. we all come face to face in this commmunity, and quite frequently too. that is definitely true, and ive run into a couple from tourney to tourney, and mostly i find that in general they arent as bad in person as when they are behind the screen, except of course when they get drunk.

No, my "flame me to pieces comment" was directed at anyone that was going to tell me I'm stupid for thinking redundant posts aren't that big of a deal. Sorry, when I re-read it sounds like I'm directing that at you specifically. My bad.

My basic thing is that most newer people on the forum post redundant topics >> after they're not so new, it wears off because they've been reading with the rest of us. I personally never use the search option, but because I read the topics, I don't make too many redundant posts.

So, to the "general you" (rather than just to Paul), let it go (in my opinion).

interesting thing about Dat Phan, i dont know anything about him but i do know that there is a stand up comedian with the exact same name and when they introduced him on a comedy central stand up thing, i practically fell out of my chair
