tight session with doug at NU. first session since NYFA so we were both amped to play hard and hope the jam would motivate both of us to level up. we werent disappointed.

my highlights:
 a run with datw>toe torque like 18 contacts deep into the string
 pdx torque>pdx blender>run
 footed drifter>blazing butter bsos
 pdx drifter>blazing butter
 drifter>barrage BS
 drifter>matador>run
 blazing butter and food barefoot
 hopover swirl>pdx blender>run
 gyro clipper b2b barefoot
 phasing ss pickup
 whirling ss butter>food>pdx whirl>run

(edit--cont.)

haha i buried dougs highlight post. i'll be nice and quote him. or he can repost it if he should so desire.

but yeah, doug was really ripping today. he was doing some swank guiltless strings, looking really comfortable the whole time. he kicked chris' drill's ass. he busted out a gyro set out of nowhere, gyro clip b2b, his first gyro mirage (it looked awesome, real clean and big)

cant wait for saturday. its gonna be the shit. come one come all, BSC runs shit yo.

pete bowler out.

dude that's insane. I was thinking about NYC earlier today and thought up that I should've asked you to hit pdx drifter > blazing butter. Craaaazy.

hey and barrage? That's interesting too. Props. barfly. do it.

Doug Said:

I won. :P

And by that I mean I hit your challenge first Chris.

Anywho, Freakin sick session today with just Pete and me. Fran was gonna come but Idk what happened, guess he had too much work or somethin, hopefully he can play Saturday. Itd be sweet to have 2 whole circles going again.

....haha, wow, Fran just called me as I finished that last paragraph. Crazy.

So yeah, Pete and I were both playin really well today. Pete had some ill highlights that Im sure he'll post later. He was reeeeeeeally close to hitting legover outta toe whirling too, he footed it several times, it was nasty. I started out strong, then took out the camera, and played like shit. Luckily my bttery died and I started playing really well again. So yea, I dont remember any specific highlights cept for drifter>rev swirl and drifter>barrage bs, oh and a suuuuuuper clean gyro mirage. I decided to try out gyro clippers today and it sorta clicked on one side so I figured, "meh, i'll try it" and bam! nailed it, felt so good.

I recently watched "The Sickness" shred video put out by Evan Lovely and Im now inspired to get good at spinning/gyro and ducking all cuz of Ricky Moran. First time Id ever seen footage of him, INSANE! I really wish he still played cuz he had mad style.

I normally woulda written this in my own blog but I dont wanna put anything in there til I wrap up my NYC write-up.... and Im lazy so it'll have to wait.

Mad pumped for Saturday

Peace

so doug you've hit little apple but not gyro mirage? That's pretty hardcore, man. It's nice to hear you want to do spinning gyro stuff. And you should master toe gyro so you can just be a toe shuffle/spinning/frantic setting . jedi.

@ Pete. Thanks.

@ this blog. Sorry I spammed again. I'll stop.

BSC!!!
Fuckin ill session today. Once again that indoor spot is ill. Everyone played well, I hit a couple like 10 contact strings and they felt pretty good. My pixies r really coming along. I can hit them fairly consistantly. Almost all of BSC was in attendance... overall a really good session. We also got some filming done and it should come out rly well. Danklas is handling the editing.. I have high hopes.

That's wats up.

I'm gonna have to get mom to bake me some more cookies over thanksgiving break. Soo good, hopefully they last more than one sitting this time haha. It was definitely awesome to have you guys stay over at the jam since I have no friends in Hoboken who play footbag that I hang out with and you guys talk about it 24/7 and it made me want to play all the time. I'm bout to blaze and go to cirque du soleil. holla at the kid.
