alright, the way you do paradon with your left leg dexing is still really weird. although it is the, the method you use with your right leg dexing looks way more correct.

lol. I'll try a few dsos next session. Thanks Aleksei. I do think they're kinda ugly though, so I probably won't use them very much.

Jogged about 2 miles yesterday, looking for a good shred spot. Finally found one in a church parking lot, which was kind of ironic because of a conversation I had like 3 minutes before I left.

I think if I concentrate on really REALLY not kicking myself in the balls on strong paradons, I do them with better form. I also don't kick myself in the balls as much.

It wasn't really a spectacular session, but I did ripwalk x 50 bs and worked infinity form.

Session with Cody earlier. Played pretty well. Filmed for the Christmas Calendar, so it was a good time to play well. I couldn't hit blender for some reason. It was weird. Whatever. Filming again tomorrow, and I'm also going to try and capture the footage tomorrow, then continue editing it next week and try and finish it before december. Tight schedule.

Anyways, highlights... uhhh...

flip spinning felt easy? it was really weird, I haven't tried it in a long time.

Most of my ducks were really clean.

Flip Pixie Paradon first try into a string, but I couldn't bsos it. I hate when I do that. Pixie Paradon is hella easy.
I tried Alpine Smog and I think I could probably hit that within the next year (lol).
Cody hit PDX DLO, and then he hit it like 10 more times. Came natural to him, even though he never does dlos anymore. I keep telling him too, they look good when he does them.
At the end of the session (off camera) we were doing some weird stuff, with like funky dance mid trick. I did pixie(dance)butter, and Cody did spin(dance)clipper. That's why fun. I also did Ducking Dancing Clipper... :P

Funfunfun. I'm losing my voice. I think I might have the footbag speech tomorrow. It should be good.

long post. Footbag was fun today.

EDIT: Aleksei, I footed DSO>DSO today.

lalala. Started editing the video. Got a good song picked out. Maybe more than one... we'll seee!

I played like ass today, on camera. Whatever. Cody got more footage, which is good because I got a shit ton yesterday.

lalala. Just watched wts again. Seriously, the last part should get its own video. Damn.

No school today. Eggsssss citing!

EDIT: I forgot a bunch of stuff.

The footbag speech went really well. the minimum for speaking was 3 minutes, and it had to be less than 5 minutes. It was like 4:56 or something. I talked about the equipment, the add system, and my feelings about footbag (I tried not to get too personal... :P). At the end, there were a lot of questions, which was pretty exciting. I also got asked to do some more tricks at the end of class. For my "attention grabber" (at the beginning of the speech, to grab everybody's attention) I took off my jeans, and revealed my awesome sweaty shred shorts. I tried to be funny in it, and I think I succeeded. Overall I was very happy with it.

I think mine was probably the best speech, but I don't wanna brag. Whatever. I got a 50/50 on it, and I didn't even do all of the required stuff (didn't cite any sources, didn't use any).

lalala. A guy from Lawrence (home of KU, 15 mins away from De Soto) came to shred yesterday, and he had a really crazy style. He'll be in the video for sure. It was really interesting, you'll have to see it. Frank Sinatra is visiting De Soto next week, which should be exciting. Can't wait to shred with him.

Weeee! I went to bed at 7 last night, woke up at 2 am, brushed teeth, watched TV, went to bed at 6 am, woke up at 9 am. What a weird night.

Lots of people did room tours a while ago, and I thought it was pretty cool. My room is ridiculously messy, but I never ever go in there. Just to sleep and change clothes. And store stuff.

Here's mine.

Scene 1: The Stairs. Uhhh, this is just where I throw all of my stuff. It's not realy a good thing. Contains my awesome Members only Jacket, KU T-Shirt, Scrabble bag, uhhh. school papers... Backpack for school, quantums (with nasty sweaty socks in them.. ew). There's also an old footbag or two in there. My first radiation bag I think.
Image

Scene 2: Up the stairs... on the landing outside of my room. Up at the top of the picture is some art stuff. Below is some clothes... trig book, art supplies. The case for my markers.
Image

Scene 3: On top of the thing that holds the towels. Usually it holds a bunch of footbags. Just little Dave (my first good 32, from Dave Clavens) and an old old 12 panel that I made. Oh, and my chores for today (fucking parents...)
Image

Scene 4: Entrance to my room. You can see... lots of dirty clothes. A canvas with a pre-pre drawing I'm working on. I'll probably finish the drawing and start painting tonight. The preliminary sketch (which was at first just a doodle) can also be seen, just a lot smaller. That cord is the charger for my phone. You can see my art lamp, which is normally not there. It's set up on my art stool for my art canvas so I can do art. :P
Image

Scene 5: My desk. Rarely gets used for anything except holding stuff. It has... a 4th grade football trophy... some glass coke bottles. A drawing of DC (Clownface!) I have it uploaded somewhere. Some colored pencils... a small container that has some lead shot in it. Maybe some fabric too... The cords down below are for my PS2 that is now in the possession of Dave Clavens.
Image

Scene 6: Fuck this is gonna take forever. lol. It's been like 10 minutes already. This is the canvas. I already talked about it. You can see the laces for my twill lavers though. And an old old footbag that I made.
Image

Scene 7: Big mess. Black bag contains my disc golf stuff. Some art supplies in the bottom right. My bed.
Image

Scene 8: My drafting table. Gets used a lot for drawing. I'm working on something that doesn't fit on it right now, though. It's dusty. Ew. Image

Scene 9: Messy stuff. Art stuff. You can see some of my underwear. Ew. Some microsuede.
Image

Scene 10: My TV. Also pictures from Washington DC, and my awesome stick (one of 3! pictures later). In the butter tub is turpentine for painting, not butter. :P
Image

Scene 11: My radio. Cranks out some jammin' tunes. Not really, it sucks. I hung up that blanket in the background because the window it is covering lets in SO MUCH light. God I hate it.
Image

Scene 12: Bookcase. Fantasy Books, lots of em. RA Salvatore is my favorite author. Some Harry Potters in there too I think. Also a case for my POG SLAMMERS. FUCK YEAH.
Image

Scene 13: Bed. Power Rangers blanket, cell phone.
Image

Scene 14: Corner with guitar, shoes, fan, sticks, awesome things my grandpa made... uhhh... bulletin board. Thing that holds all my crap including plates that I just ate some cake on, yum.
Image

Scene 15: Guitar. I play this thing like twice a year.
Image

Scene 16: Thing my grandpa made. It's hella cool.
Image

Scene 17: My cool sticks I bought at the renaissance festival. Other one if over by the TV.
Image

Scene 18: Dress shoes. Semi-dress shoes, and then some bangin' shinedales. That's what's up.
Image

That's it. My room is sooooo messy!

Everybody's shaving. :(

Haven't played in a while. Going to play tomorrow. Part of the reason is becaues I have no place. It's actually getting cold and it snowed a couple days ago. :(

KU Football is playing the biggest game of its life tonight. I'm going to a KU basketball game tomorrow though, which should be fun. They're playing Arizona.

CHOCOLATE RAIN :D
Yeah... I would freak out if I lived with you. I liked the shading and colours in that orange picture on the floor in one of the first pictures. And the tree a lot -- it reminded me a bit of Mike Mignola's trees (which are awesome).

Umm, wow. Messy.
Do you make your own canvasses at school? Or do they, like, provide them for you? I think they provided everything for us in highschool, but I never painted. I have a super cheap trick if you have to make them your own, or have to buy them.

Thanks for the art compliments. :)

The school supplies canvasses, but I got that one for free from a friend who moved.

I'd like to know your trick anyways though. :D

EDIT: I was drawing with Marker earlier and now I have a headache. :( Stupid markers.

I fucked up the marker drawing and got really pissed. I'm gonna have to redo it. FUCK. I went to prismacolor.com and picked up some cool techniques though. I'll try to incorporate them this time. I really don't want to redo it, though... I spent like all this weekend working on it. It'll be worth it!

Here's a picture before I completely fucked it up:
Image

Argh that makes me really mad. Mad enough to play footbag! I played horribly, but I didn't expect to play good. My legs felt really weird and jelly-like and it carried through in my style. I felt like Takumi, but a lot worse. Speaking of Takumi, there's a freestyle football video of him on youtube. You should check it out.

A picture of my Quantums with Papa Cleave:
Image

And a picture of the bags I played with during my session (my two best, I think):
Image

Fuck I'm so pissed about that drawing.

Played footbag again. I think next time I'm having a shitty session I'll just have a massive drill session. Those are never shitty. :)

Ripwalk x 10 bs (each one seperately)
Ripwalk>Ripwalk x 5 bs
Ripwalk x 4 First try
Smear x 10 bs (I did all 10 on strong in a row, same string)
Dimwalk x 10 bs (15 flip)
40, 23, and 81 infinities in only 3 tries.
Blur x 5 bs
PLO x 20 (keep going if I drop) I dropped way too much. I need to school legovers still. And flip pixie.
Pixie ss Clip x 10 bs (15 flip)

I was going to do Tripwalk and toe Blur but I was hella tired, and I'm going to the KU basketball game tonight. If they lose I swear to god. grrr. That would be 3 teams that I support losing. IN ONE FUCKING WEEKEND. I really wish I didn't like sports.

Next time I'll do spinning clip, gyro clip, drifter, whirl, osis, ducking clip, swirls maybe.
